To help you get a sense of who I am, let me briefly introduce myself: My name is Noel, I’m 18, and I’ve just moved from Slovakia to the Netherlands (leaving my family behind) to begin my studies in Mechanical Engineering at TU/e. I’m goal-oriented and usually busy with my own projects — whether that’s learning new things, working part-time, or training for marathons or triathlons. I definitely prefer a clean and respectful living environment over a 24/7 party atmosphere. I come from a big, supportive family of seven, and as the second oldest child I’ve always had responsibilities — both for myself and for helping to take care of my younger siblings. This taught me to be reliable, considerate, and used to the give-and-take of living with other people. At the same time, growing up in a big family also meant there was always someone to talk to, exchange ideas with, and share stories, so I really value that kind of easy social connection at home. In terms of finances, I already have an income from my part-time job, and my parents are happy to act as guarantors if needed. If you require any documentation from them — such as proof of income or other paperwork — we can absolutely provide that.
