We are Bálint (26) and Zóra (25), a peaceful worker-student couple. Bálint has recently finished his studies in Film & TV at the University of Stavanger, Norway and will now work and explore further career opportunities. In September, Zóra will begin her studies in Transformation Design at Willem de Kooning Academy (WdKA) in Rotterdam. We are looking for a bigger room / studio / apartment where we can live together. Our main preferences are having a living space (bedroom) spacious enough for two people, and a location with good connection to Zóra’s academy in central Rotterdam. In addition, registration should be possible for both of us. With regards to a budget, we are looking for accommodation around 1000 € / month, and our parents are prepared to be our guarantors. We are aware of the housing market’s limits and are flexible and open to any solutions. A little bit more about ourselves; we are a peaceful couple of 3 years, who enjoy a relaxed living environment. In our spare time we enjoy cooking together, watching series, listening to music and attending cultural events. We enjoy getting to know and meeting other people and are absolutely open to live in shared housing. Tidiness is important for the both of us and having lived in shared housing before, we both understand how to share common spaces respectfully with others.

The reason for this was the desire to financially support our daughters in completing their studies, in order to have better paid jobs and more stability. In the country, I worked as a textile engineer (pattern maker), and my husband in the electrical engineering field. Currently, we both have secure jobs here in Groningen, providing us with a stable income to comfortably cover our rent and living expenses. We are very quiet, non-smoking people who value cleanliness and order. We have a great track record as renters, with positive experiences living in shared environments, and we never receive complaints. We are currently staying with friends until the end of July. They are incredibly happy with how we care for their space (and their cats!), and we can gladly provide their reference if needed.. Regarding the accommodation you offer, we think it is exactly what we are looking for. A lot of the accommodation in the Netherlands is rooms in student houses, and does not accept working people. So we are looking for a quiet studio or apartment, where we can rest, cook after a day of work, and study (we are learning English and Dutch at the moment). Nothing more. The size of the space is really irrelevant to us, and as long as it is okay with you, we are perfect to live together in this space. We have lived in small spaces all our lives.
