Hoi, I'm Tom Jesse, 20 years old, and I will be studying International Physiotherapy at Saxion and looking forward to it! Briefly about me: I play tennis, field hockey and ice hockey, love running and fitness, and actually any other kind of sport - ideally with a ball and two teams and fun; but the main thing is sport. I like to be out and about, whether in a club or a café or at the movies or simply with friends in the evening. I would describe myself as open and experienced in shared flats because I grew up with two older brothers ;-) but I actually lived with a friend in a shared flat in Hamburg for a year and would like to continue doing so. Saki: She graduated from Tama Art University in Tokyo in 2013, and her major was jewelry design and craft. After graduating, she has been working as an accessory and jewelry designer for 10 years. She went to Paris to make purchases and to China on business trips to factories. After moving to Amsterdam, she is working with artists and designers in Amsterdam besides her jewelry brand business. Hey there! We’re Elisa and Valentin, an easygoing German couple who moved to Amsterdam last summer for our master’s degrees. We’ve been together for six years and absolutely love living here - cycling everywhere, exploring the Netherlands and diving into our studies. Now that our student housing is ending, we’re looking for a long-term place to call home. A bit about us: Elisa is studying Physics and will start her Master thesis soon. She loves cooking (especially vegetarian dishes), and doing yoga. Valentin is finishing his Masters in Environment and Resource Management and has been active as resident assistant in our student building, organizing events and helping other international students. In Amsterdam, he especially enjoys exploring the museums. Income situation: We currently both receive full scholarships from different German organizations that total 3000 € per month and we also have some savings. After the summer Valentin will start working as electrical engineer and Elisa will continue to receive her scholarship. As tenants, we’re: Respectful but relaxed. We’re not the type to stress over a few dishes in the sink, but we’ll never leave a mess. We are involved in our work/studies, but we love meeting new people and sharing meals. Reliable. We pay rent on time, communicate openly, and just want a comfy place to live. What we’d love: A room or apartment in Amsterdam (or nearby, with a reasonable commute), whether that’s with housemates or just us. Ideally under 2200€, but we’re flexible for the right spot. Having two separate rooms would be perfect, but we are also used to living together on tight space. We’re not super picky, just looking for somewhere cozy, practical, and with good vibes. Hoi! Ik ben Dorka, ik kom oorspronkelijk uit Hongarije, maar heb de afgelopen 7 jaar in Zwitserland gewoond. Drie weken geleden ben ik naar Amsterdam verhuisd! Gelukkig ken ik de stad al best goed en ik heb hier al lieve vrienden. Mijn Nederlands is nog niet perfect, maar ik kom steeds dichter bij vloeiend spreken! Ik ben chemical engineer and yoga docent. Ja, een bijzondere combinatie! Ik werk als wetenschapper bij een biotech bedrijf in Amsterdam. In het begin werk ik daar 5 dagen per week, maar later mag ik ook deels thuiswerken (niet meer als 2 dagen per week). Even iets meer over mij: ik hou van reizen (ben net terug van bijna 4 maanden in Latijns-Amerika!), lezen, koken, dansen (vooral op electronic music), en met vrienden op een zonnig terrasje zitten met een drankje. Als huisgenoot ben ik easygoing en respectvol. Ik zoek een gezellige plek waar we ons allebei thuis voelen, af en toe samen iets leuks doen, en het fijn hebben samen. Ik spreek Engels, Nederlands, Duits (al haal ik het soms door de war met Nederlands), Hongaars, en ik kan nog steeds een Aperol Spritz bestellen in het Italiaans 🍹 Ik hoor graag van je!

Ik ben opgegroeid en nu weer werkzaam in Hilversum. Ik werk als begeleider in de acute psychiatrie op de high intensive care. Ik woon op dit moment in Amsterdam en wil graag weer terug naar Hilversum.
