Hello! I'm a long-time self-employed multidisciplinary creative professional (photographer/creative director/media background) recently relocated to the Netherlands from the U.S. (Feb., 2026). I have a valid visa & residence permit, a business registered with the KvK, a growing network of Dutch friends and a sense of community, having previously spent extended stays in the NL twice in two years. This time, my move is permanent. I have never felt more at home than I do with my feet in the ground in the Netherlands. I am in LOVE with Het Gooi region, and am temporarily staying in Huizen. I know every trail, every neighborhood, farm and public transport access from Huizen and Blaricum to Laren and Hilversum. I'm also familiar with and open to Bussum and Almere, LOVE Baarn, Hoorn, Haarlem, Amersfoot and Den Haag - where I have friends. I'm aware of the housing shortage, and will happily consider any availability within a 90-minute commute by public transportation to Amsterdam, where much of my work seems to be. I have excellent rental history and personal references, and would be delighted to be the dream tenant you hope for, far beyond just the standard financial responsibility. I care for my space, have a green thumb, and love people, adore animals, art, golf, opera, and even the raindrops most complain about - there's serenity in gray days, too! Mijn naam is patrick, 35 jaar, en na jaren thuis te hebben gewoond heb ik een aantal jaren op kamers gewoond in Winschoten waar ik zowel geboren als getogen ben en wil nu mijn horizon verbreden daarom heb ik afgelopen jaar toen ik de kans kreeg om voor een paar maanden in Groningen te gaan wonen de kans met bij de handen aan gegrepen en het is me zeer goed bevallen maar zoals ik al aangaf ging het om een tijdelijke woonruimte waar ik in december uit moest daarom ben ik momenteel terug in Winschoten ik sta al aantal jaren ingeschreven bij woningcorporaties tot nu toe zonder succes daarom probeer ik het op deze manier. Ik ben niet erg kieskeurig ik vind de locatie (Stad Groningen) of omgeving belangrijker dan de woonruimte zelf wel is het belangrijk dat bij een huurwoning huurtoeslag mogelijk is mijn voorkeur gaat natuurlijk uit naar een (studio/appartement) maar sta ook open voor een Kamer met gezellige huisgenoten. Over mij: Ik ben rustig, netjes en sociaal. Ik hou van dagjes uit, van wandelen, foto graveren filmavonden en heb een passie voor muziek en ga graag naar festivals & opstap. ik rook niet en ben een gezelligheid drinker, verder hou ik van gezellige sfeer en ik weet ook goed om een gezellige sfeer te creëren.
