I’m Vendelín, I come from the town of Olomouc in the Czech Republic. I've been studying Molecular Life Sciences in Utrecht for a year now. I am a big plant biology and generally natural science fan, and so I enjoy my studies quite a bit. For that reason I would definitely like to stay studying in Utrecht, and therefore I am looking for a place to stay for at least a part of my studies I have some experience with living alone and with others in new places since I've lived alone for the past year and in general travelled a bunch. Furthermore, I was an exchange student in the USA and lived with two host parents and another Danish exchange student in Ohio for 10 months. I like to read, run, and play tennis. I am self-sufficient and tidy, I don't smoke or take any drugs. I enjoy meeting people, so it is definitely nice if there are more people around.

Hello! I'm a long-time self-employed multidisciplinary creative professional (photographer/creative director/media background) pursuing fluency in Dutch, relocating late January via a DAFT Visa. I already have a BSN, a network of Dutch friends and a sense of community, having spent extended stays in the NL twice in two years. This time, my move is permanent. I have never felt more at home than I do with my feet in the ground in the Netherlands. I have excellent references, rental history, and would be delighted to be the dream tenant you hope for, far beyond just the standard financial responsibility. I care for my space, have a green thumb, and love people, adore animals, art, golf, opera, and even the raindrops most complain about - there's serenity in gray days, too! I am open to anyplace accessible to public transportation (I have sold my car for the time being) in communities in the north, like Alkmaar, Zaandam, Edam and Haarlem, to areas I'm also familiar with, such as Hilversum, Bussum, Huizen, Laren, Blaricum, Utrecht, Eindhoven, Amersfoort and even Venlo - though this would be quite the commute to the Randstad!
