Hello together! My name is Moritz, I am 24 years old from Aachen (Germany) and I will be starting an internship at the European Space Research and Technology Centre (ESTEC) on 1 May 2026, lasting until 31 October 2026. For the time being, I am searching for a small room or flat in the Noordwijk area, so that I can commute to ESTEC every day and enjoy the student life in the Netherlands a little bit :) Overall, I am currently a Master's student at RWTH Aachen University that is working in research and has a big interest in anything related to technology, sports (running, cycling, swimming, volleyball), photography and culture. As of now, I am about to graduate and move onto the PhD programme at my university. Previously, I also spent two trimesters in Paris at École Polytechnique (X), where I really enjoyed getting to know and spending time with the other students. I am now hoping for a similar experience in the Netherlands! Regarding the language barrier, I am sure that I will be able to understand one or two words of Dutch as German native speaker. But in any case, I also speak fluent English and a little French. When it comes to financials, I will be covered with more than enough money from the ESA internship, my monthly support from the parents and a scholarship I get from the Porsche AG. Hey allemaal! Ik ben Luc, 22 jaar oud en woon momenteel nog in het mooie Maastricht. Ik ben op zoek naar een leuke kamer in Nijmegen om de komende twee jaar mijn Master in Cybersecurity te kunnen halen! Ik hou mezelf graag bezig, hetzij via activiteiten van de volleybal vereniging waar ik graag speel, via leuk bijkletsen met vrienden of via een kleine borrel in de achtertuin met het huis; het maakt me allemaal niet zo uit. Hoiii allemaal! Ik ben opzoek naar een (vaste) kamer in omgeving Delft-Den haag-Rotterdam. Nou even over mezelf! Ik ben Nikki, 18 (over een maandje 19) en woon momenteel in een dorpje naast Roermond. Ik ga komend jaar bouwkunde studeren aan TU Delft of HHS (sta op de wachtlijst bij Delft dus ik hoop nog op een plekje, anders ga ik naar Den Haag) en omdat de afstand echt onmogelijk is met de trein zoek ik iets in de buurt. Ik werk momenteel parttime in de horeca en in mijn vrije tijd doe ik echt vanallesss. Kleding maken, lekkere wijntjes drinken op het terras en reizen, vooral Zuid-Europa en Azië zijn mijn favo bestemmingen. Portugal & Japan hebben namelijk echt mijn hart gestolen! Maar hoe leuk ik op vakantie gaan ook vind, blijft mode echt mijn ding dus underdressed zul je me niet snel zien! Ik zoek een kamer vanaf juni-augustus. Ik ben een erg makkelijk persoon in de omgang, netjes en houd rekening met anderen! Ik betaal alles altijd optijd en ik ben erg sociaal dus ik zou veel gezelligheid meebrengen ;)

Hello, I'm Emilio. I’m 22 years old and will be 23 in May 2026. I was born and raised in Napa, California but have lived in Denver, Colorado for the past 2 years. I have three citizenships, American, Italian and Canadian. I speak English and some Italian, but no Dutch (yet!). I plan on settling into my new home in Amsterdam in June 2026, and will work part-time after getting settled in. I’m willing to rent sooner for the right home to avoid housing chaos. I do have savings and allocate my financial resources responsibly. I enjoy playing video games such as Cities: Skylines, and going to many EDM shows. I’m social but not a big partier. I love travelling and have visited my family in Italy since I was 6 months old. I’m very passionate about non-car centric city planning, which is why I’m going to Amsterdam to study it since I believe they have the best cities in the world. I hope to take that knowledge of the Netherlands and bring it back to the USA to help improve our car-centric cities here. I’m pursuing a Bachelor’s at University of Amsterdam to study Human Geography and Planning, eventually gaining a Masters in a related field. In terms of housing, my preference would be in Amsterdam within a reasonable commute to the Roeterseiland campus, but understand I may need to look further out. I would prefer to live in a private studio, but I’m also open to shared housing. In Denver, I’ve lived with three various other roommates the whole time, and all of us have gotten along very well. I’m very clean and quite quiet, though I do like socializing with my roommates when we’re able to. Having lived with roommates the past 2 years, I’m more than happy to share a space with others and I keep common areas very tidy. I’m excited to meet people from around the world and experience my next chapter.
