Hello everyone! My name is Nicole, I'm 25 years old and I'm originally from Italy. In the last couple of years I've lived in different countries for studying and working, including Japan and Australia, and France and since February of this year I've been doing a Master in Politics, Economies and Societies of Asia at Leiden University. As I'm studying in Leiden and working part-time in Den Haag, I am looking for a room in the area :) I am a friendly person, I enjoy chatting and hanging out with my flatmates, but I of course also value personal space. I am very clean and always make sure common spaces are tidy and ready for the next person to use. In September, I’m starting my bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering at the Eindhoven University of Technology, with the goal of working in the medtech field in the future. Hoi! Ik ben Thijmen, 23 jaar en heb gestudeerd in Groningen, waar ik een geweldige studententijd heb gehad. Ik heb inmiddels mijn bachelor Biologie en mijn master Energy & Environmental Sciences gehaald, maar ik ben nog niet helemaal uitgestudeerd. Vandaar dat ik heb besloten nog en master in Public Administration aan de UTwente te doen en zoek ik een fijne plek om te wonen in Enschede. Ik vind het ontzettend gezellig om samen met huisgenoten te eten, een drankje te doen, een goed bordspel te spelen of gewoon even op de bank te hangen. Tegelijkertijd vind ik het ook helemaal prima als iedereen lekker zijn eigen gang gaat en waardeer ik mijn persoonlijke ruimte als ik even rustig aan wil doen. In mijn vrije tijd vermaak ik me altijd wel. Ik speel graag wat op mijn gitaar, hou op m'n tijd van wat gamen en ga regelmatig een rondje hardlopen (met als doel de halve marathon). Daarnaast ben ik nu nog elk weekend actief als leiding bij een scoutingvereniging in Groningen. Zodra ik in Enschede gesetteld ben, ben ik zeker van plan om daar in de buurt ook weer zoiets op te pakken. Ook ben ik graag met mijn vrienden. We plannen regelmatig speciaalbier avondjes, een whiskey proeverij of een leuke, actieve activiteit, zoals padellen. Ik zoek dus een gezellig huis met een mooie balans tussen samen dingen ondernemen en elkaars rust respecteren.
