Goedendag, Ik ben deeltijd PhD-student aan de Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam, bij de faculteit filosofie. Ik heb een dubbele nationaliteit, Duits en Zuid-Afrikaans, en woon al ongeveer twee jaar in Gouda (Zuid-Holland). Daarvoor heb ik in Brussel (ongeveer 7 jaar) en in Berlijn (ongeveer 1,5 jaar) gestudeerd en gewerkt. Gouda bevalt me goed, het was perfect om mijn proefschrift te schrijven, maar de verhuurder verkoopt het huis en ik moet dus vóór augustus van dit jaar verhuizen. I like to have meaningful conversations, and enjoy the occasional social event. Overall, however, I prefer a quieter peaceful environment. Hoi! Ik ben Elena, 22 jaar en kom uit Bergen op Zoom. Afgelopen studiejaar heb ik mijn Bachelor Bouwkunde aan de TU gehaald. Na dit tussenjaar, waarin ik stage loop bij verschillende architectenbureaus, ga ik volgend jaar beginnen aan de master Architecture. Ik ben daarom dus op zoek naar een kamer voor langere periode. Naast mijn studie vind ik het leuk om in mijn vrije tijd te sporten (ik speel hockey en doe ook aan hardlopen), met vrienden leuke dingen te ondernemen (film kijken, samen eten of gewoon chillen) of een rustige avond te hebben met een boek erbij of een leuke serie/film.

I love talking about all sorts of things and hearing what other people think. And I've done a lot of volunteering, which has been really cool.
