Wanneer ik niet aan mijn pc zit te werken of te spelen, ben ik graag buiten aan het sporten of muziek aan het maken. Ik speel een paar instrumenten, daaronder gitaar, piano en accordeon :) Ik zou het leuk vinden soms samen te zitten en te kletsen, gemenzaam te koken of zelf kleine activiteiten te plannen, maar soms wil ik me even ook gewoon terugtrekken en uitrusten. Leven en laten leven zo te zeggen.

Hello! I'm a self-employed multidisciplinary creative professional (photographer/creative director/media background) who relocated to the Netherlands from the U.S. in February. I have a valid visa & residence permit, a business registered with the KvK, a growing network of Dutch friends and a sense of community, having previously spent extended stays in the NL twice in two years. This time, my move is permanent. I have never felt more at home than I do with my feet in the ground in the Netherlands. I am in LOVE with Het Gooi region, where I'm and am temporarily staying. I know every trail, every neighborhood, farm and public transport access from Bussum, Huizen and Blaricum to Laren and Hilversum. I'm also familiar with Naarden, LOVE Baarn, Hoorn, Haarlem, Amersfoot and Den Haag - where I have friends. I'm aware of the housing shortage, and will happily consider any availability within a 90-minute commute by public transportation to Amsterdam, where much of my work seems to be. I have an excellent rental history and personal references and I care for my space. I have a green thumb, love people, adore animals, art, am newly enthusiastic about golf, opera, and even the raindrops most complain about - there's serenity in gray days, too! Hoi! Even though I’m from abroad, I’d love to get to know Dutch people – so I try to adapt with my language! My name is Paula and I am 25 years old. I am studying Psychology as my second Bachelor degree in Leiden. I live here since one year after I ended my first bachelor in Sustainable Economics in Germany (Bonn). That was a nice time but figured out that Psychology is my path that I want to pursue. I am interested in conversations and people per se but also enjoy easy talks to laugh a lot. I can imagine to live in Leiden or The Hague. I do acting since a long time ago, started freshly with tennis and my next project is, of course, to learn dutch. I honestly didn't have time to go to a dutch course but I listen to my dutch tennis trainer every Monday for one hour. So I somehow understand it a bit, but I want to learn it for sure! I really like to surround myself with nice people and drink a beer/wine/coffee with them but I’m also happy just to go for a quiet jog along the canals. I hope to get to know you soon!
