I'm looking for a studio, room or small apartment in Amsterdam, Amstelveen or Diemen, up to €1,500 all-in, for at least 6 months (longer is also fine). I can move in immediately: there's a cat where I live now and I have a serious allergy to it, so I need to move quickly. About me: clean, quiet and responsible, healthy lifestyle, no pets, non-smoker, no bad habits. I work during the day and like to keep my place tidy. I’m currently looking for a place to live in Amsterdam or the surrounding areas, ideally from December 2026 until May 2027. I’m open to either:
🏠 a room in a shared apartment/house
🏡 a private studio I’ll be doing my traineeship in Sport and Exercise Psychology, so I’m also open to places outside Amsterdam with good transport connections, such as Utrecht, Rotterdam, The Hague, Almere, or other nearby areas. A little about me: I’m from Greece, a graduate of Physical Education and Sport Science, and I’m currently doing my Master’s degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology. I’m a calm, clean, organized and respectful person, and I’m used to taking good care of the place I live in. My name is Sofia, I'm 25, originally from Slovakia and I've just started my first year of bachelor's in Psychology at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. I'm currently based in Almere, however, I'm actively looking for a room closer to the university to cut down on commute expenses. Besides obviously being interested in psychology as I have chosen it as my programme of study, I'm into social science in general - history, sociology, learning languages and immersing in the unfamiliar are also my jam. I'm also an avid reader which is linked to the fact that I used to write one shots and short stories mainly towards the end of primary school and throughout high school (I haven't actually written anything that's not school-related in quite a long while but I definitely want to revert to it at some point). I am pretty respectful of other people's space and boundaries and pretty used to living in shared accommodation at this point - the place I live in now is my 5th shared housing. Therefore, cleaning after using common areas such as the kitchen and bathroom is something I do automatically without having to be reminded of or scolded for not doing it. I'm pretty introverted but I do have extraverted moments every now and then. I value privacy but I'm also definitely down for shared activities, cooking, watching TV or just chilling.
