I am an Indonesian type designer, recently lived in France and now relocating to the Netherlands for a PhD program in KITLV Leiden while still doing my entrepreneurial job on the side. To summarise, I am making around €4100++ gross per month (and some will benefit from 30% ruling) with a guaranteed extra income in the future. For the PhD, I will be on Highly Skilled Migrant visa situation (where my existence in the Netherlands is tied with the employment of my job) with an income of €2841 per month from my PhD researcher job (having €34093 brutto per year and €29863 netto since I am eligible for 30% tax ruling). Additionally, I have an additional stable passive income ±€1250 (per past one-year data) for keeping my entrepreneurial job as I make and sell fonts online. I do not smoke, do not have any children or pets. I have also always been reliable tenants, with a clean rent payment history in both the UK (2019-2023) and France (2023-2025).
