Hello, I am an incoming working Master's Student at TU/e this September. I am 22 years old, I live by myself, I don't have pets or smoke or use alcohol. I plan to rent for 2 years for my study and optionally longer if I can find a job in the Netherlands. I make 700 Euro/month but my parents will be financing my stay in the Netherlands primarily for 1000+ Euro/month.

Hi, I am Sara, 24 years old from Iran and I am going to start my master in Biology in Leiden university and I am looking for a room. I am clean and take a good care of where I live. I am a social person and I enjoy cooking. I also like sports, and probably will join a sport association when come to Leiden. Study is important for me, I will be spending quite some time in my room doing homework. And in the weekends, either doing some day trips or visiting my brother who lives in Enschede. I like to start the rent from beginning of August or Mid august. a little bit sooner a later might also work. I come to the Netherlands possibly in July and spend some time with my brother in Enschede. for the potential rooms, my brother can travel to Leiden in the weekends to visit the the room on my behalf. Hi, I am Carlotta (22) from Cologne. I am glad to be an Erasmus student at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam for the autumn semester, from august 30 until december 18th. I am looking for a friendly, also minimalistic room - best in Centrum / Jordaan or Oud-West. As I will keep my flat in Cologne I will only travel with a suitcase and my instrument (trombone) and of course I won't play the trombone in my room. There are rehearsal rooms in the Conservatorium. Our familiy dog lives with my parents (who pay my rent) in Stuttgart. I am a friendly and considerate person who takes great care of everything in my surroundings. I love a tidy home, but am also used to living in a shared flat. I'd really enjoy living in a shared flat with nice people where sometimes we might cook together or spend time together in the evenings. I love cooking, especially vegetarian meals. In general I am very interested in cultural activities. November last year I went to Amsterdam for visiting the Julian Lage concert in the Concertgebouw. I also visited the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum and I am really looking forward to spending four months in Amsterdam.

Hai, ik ben Nathalie (18 jaar), ik kom uit Deventer en ga in september bewegingswetenschappen studeren in Groningen. Ik houd van hockey, reizen, een gezellig feestje, werken in de horeca, spelletjes en soms lekker op de bank zitten en een serie kijken. Afgelopen jaar heb ik een tussenjaar gehad. Ik heb de afgelopen tijd dan ook veel gewerkt en gereisd. Ik ben naar Malaga geweest (5 weken) en naar Zuid-Afrika, Eswatini en Mozambique (2,5 maand). Ik vond het dan ook heerlijk om even een jaartje rust te hebben van school/studie, maar heb nu ook wel mega veel zin in het studentenleven! Ik heb een zus die nu ook al wat jaartjes in Groningen studeert, en door haar verhalen kijk ik er ook heel erg naar uit om in Groningen te studeren en wonen! Ik ben dan ook niet helemaal onbekend met de stad. Het lijkt me leuk om in een gezellig studentenhuis te wonen en samen leuke dingen te doen (koken, spelletjes, uitgaan of gewoon lekker kletsen :)). Maar ik kan ook prima een momentje voor mezelf gebruiken. Als dit je/jullie aanspreekt, kom ik heel graag even kennismaken!!

My name is Dionysios Chatzoulis, though my friends call me Dion, and I am 21 years old (soon turning 22). I recently graduated from Augsburg University in Minneapolis, MN, where I completed my degree in Biochemistry. During my studies, I developed a strong interest in drug development research, which inspired me to pursue a master’s degree in Medicinal Chemistry at Radboud University. I am very excited to continue my academic journey in the Netherlands. Throughout my time at Augsburg, I was a full-time student while also working part-time as an Event Assistant for the university. This position provided valuable financial support and strengthened my sense of responsibility and independence. Last summer, I received funding to conduct my first research project, focusing on the Fries Rearrangement reaction using alternative heating sources. My goal was to explore greener catalytic methods for a reaction widely used in the production of pharmaceuticals (such as paracetamol), fragrances, pesticides, and textile dyes. This experience confirmed my passion for research and my desire to contribute to scientific development. Outside of academics, I enjoy staying active. I was part of my university’s basketball team for the first 2 years and continue to play as a hobby. In my free time, I also enjoy walking and listening to music.
