Beste verhuurder, Wij zijn Twan en Jip, twee nuchtere Achterhoekers die een droom willen verwezelijken in de grote stad. Twan is student Human Resource Management en begint in februari aan zijn afstudeerstage in Amsterdam. Na deze periode zal hij fulltime aan het werk gaan. Jip heeft een studie Creative Business afgerond en is al langere tijd werkzaam in de TV-wereld als freelancer. Vanaf februari zal hij fulltime gaan werken. Qua financiën zijn wij stabiel. Indien gewenst kunnen wij meerdere maanden huur als borg vooruit betalen en daarnaast kunnen onze ouders garant staan. Hello! My name is Isabelle and I am originally from Canada but I was raised by a Dutch mother and Greek Father. I grew up going to the Netherlands to visit my family often and I consider it a second home. I was recently accepted into the Master of Museum and Heritage Studies program at UvA and I will be starting my studies at the beginning of September. For my Bachelors I focused on art history and gender representation. I am super passionate about supporting under-represented artists in museum and exhibition settings. In the future I would like to work in a museum, gallery or organization that shares these goals. I am looking to move into a cozy living space either by myself or with a few roommates. I would prefer a room that is partly or fully furnished, as I will be moving with only a few suitcases. Personally, I am quite tidy and I really make an effort to keep personal and shared spaces clean. I am looking for roommates that also value a clean space. I love both social time with housemates and time when we can be independent. Having roommates that speak dutch would be awesome as well. I really want to become completely fluent. I love to cook and try out new recipes, so having a fully equipped kitchen is important. As for my hobbies, I enjoy gardening and getting outside for walks/runs. I love to sew clothes and crochet. I also love to go out for a dance once in a while, listen to live music and cook dinner for my friends:) My school program is full time so I will likely be in class or studying at the library most of the week.
