I have been accepted for a Master’s degree at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, and Marta will be starting her Master’s at the HKU in Utrecht this fall. ​We are looking for a long-term place to call home. Regarding our finances, we are both planning to find part-time jobs while we study and we will be applying for the DUO student finance and housing allowance (huurtoeslag), which ensures we can comfortably cover the rent. ​We have already secured a temporary place from August 3rd to August 26th, which gives us some time to settle in and meet in person if you’d like. Hoi! Ik ben Egbert Menno, 23 jaar, en vanaf september begin ik aan de master Aerospace Engineering aan de TU Delft. In mijn vrije tijd ga ik graag naar de sportschool, reis ik graag, maak ik af en toe foto’s en spreek ik graag af met vrienden. De afgelopen jaren ben ik actief geweest bij Top Dutch Solar Racing, waar ik samen met het team een zonneauto heb ontwikkeld voor de Bridgestone World Solar Challenge in Australië. Het was een unieke ervaring waar ik met veel plezier op terugkijk. Als huisgenoot ben ik rustig, sociaal en netjes. Ik vind het belangrijk dat de gezamenlijke ruimtes schoon en opgeruimd blijven en draag daar graag mijn steentje aan bij. Daarnaast lijkt het me gezellig om af en toe samen te eten, een drankje te doen of gewoon even bij te praten, terwijl ik het ook prima vind als iedereen zijn eigen ding doet.
