A little bit about myself: I am from Cyprus, I’m 22 years old and i’m moving from Amsterdam to Rotterdam to do a Maritime and Transport Law masters degree in the Erasmus University :) Fun fact: this will actually be my second master’s degree! I just finished my LLM in Public International Law at the University of Amsterdam. Before that, I lived in Groningen for three years where i did my bachelors degree. So I think it’s fair to say I’ve become quite attached to the Netherlands, I already know (and genuinely enjoy) the Dutch lifestyle, which makes staying here for another year feel like just a very natural next step. I love reading and cooking and even sometimes sharing meals with friends. I love going to concerts and seeing my favourite artists live, and I also appreciate spending time outdoors, whether it's exploring the city, going on a bike rides to see the sunset or organizing fun and vibey hangouts with friends! Back in Amsterdam, I briefly started going to pilates, which i found surprisingly fun!! I also had a part-time job there which I am planning on continuing in Rotterdam,so apart from uni, i will also work a few days a week!! I have been living with 2 roommates for the past 4 years here in the Netherlands, and we built a great routine and balance when it comes to sharing space. As this is now my fifth year living abroad and sharing housing, I am used to cohabiting respectfully and maintaining a tidy, clean and quiet environment, which obviously includes cleaning up after yourself, sharing chores, but also being transparent with one another! Hee, Ik ben Lieke, 20 jaar, en ik studeer Diergeneeskunde in Utrecht. Momenteel zit ik in het derde en laatste jaar van mijn bachelor (daarna ga ik door met de master). Afgelopen jaren heb ik op kamers gewoond in Doorn en Zeist, maar inmiddels ben ik op zoek naar iets nieuws. Ik vond het heerlijk om naar de universiteit te fietsen en zou dus heel graag weer een plekje op fiets-afstand van Utrecht Science Park vinden. Ik ben geen student met een typisch studentenleven. Overdag ben ik druk bezig met mijn opleiding of werk en 's avonds kom ik graag tot rust op mijn eigen plek. In Driebergen en Bunnik maak ik als bijbaan kantoren schoon. Mocht ik op een plek gaan wonen met huisgenoten, dan sta ik altijd open voor een klein praatje of een keertje samen koken of een spelletje doen. Daarna de rust weer op kunnen zoeken is voor mij erg belangrijk. Ik ben een verantwoordelijke, nette, rustige en sympathieke huisgenoot. Ik houd mijn omgeving graag schoon en netjes.
