I am an urban designer specialising in the conservation of cultural heritage. I have a background in urban design and architecture, with degrees from Bilkent University (undergraduate), the Dessau Institute of Architecture (DIA) in Germany (masters), and a PhD from METU. My research focuses on historic public spaces and multi-layered towns, and I have been fortunate to work on various cultural heritage projects in Ankara.
