I'm Luca, a 25-year-old Italian student wrapping up my Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering. For my final thesis, I'll be doing research at the Aerospace Engineering faculty in Delft, which is why I'm looking for a room from September to March. A bit about me: I'm easy-going, sociable, and genuinely enjoy having a chat in the kitchen or over a coffee. I love staying active and I'm the kind of person who'd rather fix something himself than call someone in: if a chair wobbles or a bike chain slips, I'm probably already halfway through repairing it. I also enjoy playing guitar (without disturbing anyone) and doing DIY projects. I'm tidy, respectful of shared spaces, and looking for a place where I can feel at home while focusing on finishing my degree. I'd love to meet you and tell you more!

Ik ben iemand met meer hobby's op een scherm dan in de wildernis. Lezen, schrijven, en games programmeren en/of spelen zie je me veel sneller doen dan uitgaan en feesten. Ik hou ontzettend veel van dieren (nog veel meer als ze niet meer dan vier poten hebben) en ik hoop een goeie, vriendelijke relatie te hebben met wie ik samenwoon.

Mijn naam is Luke, deze zomer 22 geworden en ik ben zojuist afgestudeerd met een diploma HBO werktuigbouwkunde van de Hogeschool Utrecht. Ik ga komend semester starten met een Pre-Master aerospace engineering aan de TU delft om hierna de Master te kunnen doen. Ik ben geboren in Utrecht en dat is ook waar ik nu woon, dat is alleen niet ideaal voor studeren in Delft en daarom ben ik opzoek naar een kamer. Buiten mijn studie om, chill of ga ik uit met vrienden, ga ik naar de sportschool of game ik soms. Ook ben ik wel eens bezig met projectjes met 3D printen en metaalbewerking, zo heb ik bijvoorbeeld een gemotoriseerde skelter gebouwd (helaas is het toch net iets te ver rijden naar Delft). Verder reis ik graag en ben ik druk bezig met alle landen in Europa te proberen te bezoeken. Ik ben van plan bij een vereniging te gaan, welke dat wordt is nog beetje een vraag die hopelijk in de OWeek beantwoord wordt. Ik ben opzoek naar een gezellig huis waar ik zowel goed kan studeren als gezellig samen een biertje kan doen.

Hi everyone! I'm Lola, 22 years old and from Vienna, Austria. I'll be moving to the Netherlands at the end of August to get my Masters in Crisis and Security Management at Leiden University (The Hague Campus). Ideally, I'm trying to find a room in a shared apartment/house with roommates or a small apartment/studio either in The Hague, Leiden or Delft to rent for a little more than a year starting mid-August. I'm very excited to be studying "abroad" (or away from home, I guess) again, as I find that experiencing new cultures is one of the best things a young person can do. I'm a huge fan of traveling and I got my Bachelor's degree in the United States, so I think living somewhere different in Europe for my Masters will be a cool change. I'm used to living with people, I've always grown up with siblings and spent the last four years living with 1, 2 and all the way up to 6 people, so I'd say I'm quite adaptable and know how roommate life works. As for my free time, I looove all things food and going out to eat, hanging out with my roommates, reading, going out on the weekends but also having fun nights in. I would describe myself as outgoing, responsible, independent, easygoing, and fun to be around. I'm also a very active person, I've played tennis my whole life and played college sports while in the US but generally enjoy most sports (especially volleyball and football). I don't speak Dutch yet BUT I'll be learning, so for now I hope my German and English (and humble French) will suffice :). Excited to meet you guys!!
