Hi everyone! I am a 23-year-old student from Italy, and I am about to move to the Netherlands to start my Master’s degree in Engineering and Policy Analysis at TU Delft. Back in Italy, alongside my studies, I work as a babysitter and private tutor for children of various ages, and I occasionally dedicate my time to volunteering initiatives. In my free time, I love reading, traveling, and hiking. Coming from Italy, socializing is part of my nature! I am an open, sunny person who makes friends easily. I love spending quality time with friends in relaxed setting: I definitely prefer 'few but good' when it comes to cozy nights in. Hey friends, it’s my first time venturing out into this form of finding a place while traveling. This is the first summer we are able to stay away from our home for more than 2 weeks and we’re looking for a local experience rather than a hotel (having just left the corporate world). My wife and I are both psychologists and I am a masters student at Oxford University (part time) while we both run a training center in applied mindfulness and psychology. I hold a bachelors in chemical engineering and a double masters in applied positive psychology and mindfulness. My wife is a clinical psychologist. We live in Dubai, where our work and life is built. For this summer we are planning to spend a month in Oxford (as I complete my thesis), a month in Amsterdam, and a month in Portugal — where we have a home (our little fur child — a red haired Shiba Inu — is at our extended family home, we couldn’t bring her with us due to restrictions in the UK 👎). We found a home for our stay at Oxford and now looking for a home for our stay in Amsterdam (or nearby) We are tidy, organized and enjoy quiet mornings and quiet evenings. A cafe nearby to read at and a park and shopping area to enjoy. That for us is an ideal vacation. We have sublet our home in Dubai while traveling before so we understand how important it is to take care of a home and look after it like our own.
