Hoi! Ik ben Roos, 20 jaar en kom uit Herveld, vlak bij Nijmegen. Ik heb onlangs mijn propedeuse Communicatie (CMD) aan de HAN behaald en begin vanaf september aan de bachelor Japanstudies aan de Universiteit Leiden. In mijn vrije tijd houd ik van reizen, muziek luisteren, lezen, films kijken, musea bezoeken, thriften en nieuwe koffietentjes ontdekken. Hoi! Ik ben Ishara, 22 jaar oud, en momenteel bezig met afstuderen in Toegepaste Psychologie. Vanaf september start ik aan een nieuwe bachelor Psychologie aan de Radboud University. Sinds mijn 18e woon ik al op kamers in Nijmegen en inmiddels heb ik hier echt mijn eigen leven opgebouwd. Op dit moment woon ik in een studentenhuis met een vrij zelfstandige kamer (eigen keuken en ongeveer 30m²), maar ik merk dat ik nu toe ben aan een volgende stap: een eigen studio of appartement waar ik wat meer rust en mijn eigen ritme kan hebben. Ik ben erg zelfstandig, rustig en netjes. Ik hou van een schoon huis en ben eerlijk gezegd een beetje een stress-schoonmaker, er gaat dus wekelijks wel een doekje over alles heen en de stofzuiger wordt regelmatig gebruikt 😄. Ik ga niet vaak uit, organiseer geen feestjes en ga respectvol om met mijn woonomgeving. Natuurlijk heb ik soms vrienden of familie over de vloer, maar verder leef ik vrij rustig. In mijn vrije tijd hou ik van lezen, spelletjes spelen, samen eten met vrienden en gewoon gezelligheid opzoeken. Ik zoek vooral een fijne plek waar ik me thuis kan voelen. Omdat ik volledig op mezelf ga wonen, vind ik het ook belangrijk om goed en open contact te hebben met een huisbaas/verhuurder en duidelijke communicatie te hebben met elkaar. Ik hoop een fijne, rustige plek in Nijmegen te vinden waar ik voor langere tijd met plezier kan wonen!

To be totally honest, heavy partying or going out to clubs isn't really my thing. My ideal evening looks way more like a cozy board or card game night (I absolutely love playing Uno!), a movie marathon, or just sharing a relaxed chat over a cup of tea. Also, a fun fact about me: despite being Italian, my cooking skills are currently pretty basic... but I’m super eager to learn! I also love being out in nature, whether it's for an active day trip or just going for a walk to enjoy some quiet time, or even just sharing a peaceful moment in good company without the need to talk. That being said, I really value a healthy balance at home: I love sharing quality time together, but I’m also very respectful of privacy. I know everyone needs their own space to feel at home, and I will definitely need my quiet time to focus on my studies and recharge. On the practical side, I’m genuinely clean, organized, and well-versed in keeping common areas tidy, so contributing to chores is a given for me.
