I finally moved to Amsterdam, it's been a year now. I fell in love with this wonderful city around 14 years ago and came back every year since (30 times on the counter). I've already lived abroad, South America, almost 2 years and it was one of the best experience of my life. . I am looking (again) for a private room in a shared apartment (or a studio), with max 1 roommate. (That's is the reason why I need to move, we are too much in a way too small house) . About me: I am a very serious person who minds her own business but doesn't mind to share nice meals, conversations… I work full time (40h/w) and when I'm off I enjoy some quiet and personal time. I am calm person, respectful, quiet, clean, tidy and mindful of the shared spaces and other people. . Hallo! Ik ben een 34-jarige postdoc-onderzoeker aan het Radboudumc. Oorspronkelijk kom ik uit Canada en ik werk de komende twee jaar in Nederland. Ik ben netjes, verantwoordelijk, rustig en vriendelijk. Ik ga zorgvuldig om met mijn woonruimte en houd altijd rekening met anderen.

Hai! Omdat ik ga scheiden ben ik op zoek naar een eigen plekje. Ik woon al mijn hele leven in appartementen en ben dus een ervaren huurder, om het maar zo te zeggen. In de praktijk betekent dat, dat ik altijd een goede verstandhouding probeer te bouwen met de buren en zorg dat er geen overlast van mijn kant is. Ook draag ik altijd goed zorg voor mijn woning. Indien gewenst, kunnen mijn vorige twee huisbazen dit bevestigen. Reparaties meld ik tijdig, en mijn woonomgeving is altijd schoon, netjes en verzorgd aangezien dit belangrijk is voor mijn rust. Ik werk al sinds 2014 met veel plezier als vertaler en verdien gemiddeld zo’n €3500 bruto. Maar wat misschien meer geruststelt: ik kan een garantsteller aanwijzen met een vast contract die €5200 bruto per maand verdiend. Daarnaast heb ik voldoende eigen vermogen opgebouwd om minstens een half jaar de huur te kunnen dragen. Dus over de huur hoeven geen zorgen te bestaan. Ik ben graag buiten, wandel veel en wanneer het kan, ga ik op reis om andere landschappen en culturen te ervaren. De meest dierbare reis die ik tot nu toe heb gemaakt, was een maand lang met een camper door Nieuw Zeeland toeren. In mijn vrije uurtjes rommel ik graag aan in huis: ik verzorg mijn plantjes, lees een sci-fi of fantasyboek of kijk een serie op de bank. Vrienden kunnen ook altijd op me rekenen om een kopje koffie te komen doen in de stad, dat vind ik echt één van de gezelligste dingen in de wereld!
