Beste, Ik ben Tom, 22 jaar, en na ruim vijf jaar in Nijmegen ben ik op zoek naar een nieuwe woonplek die wat meer rust en stabiliteit biedt. Mijn huidige anti-kraakwoning bleek toch minder ideaal dan gehoopt, dus ik ben toe aan een plek die echt als thuis voelt. Ik studeer Bestuurskunde aan de Radboud Universiteit en werk daarnaast als recruiter. In het dagelijks leven combineer ik mijn studie en werk met een actief sociaal leven. Ik ben graag met vrienden, ga af en toe de stad in, sport regelmatig en vind het ook fijn om thuis tot rust te komen. Qua vrije tijd ben ik graag met vrienden, probeer ik af en toe te sporten, een festivalletje mee te pikken, wandel ik met de hond van mijn ouders, lees ik een boek en speel ik piano (met oortjes, belangrijk detail!). Hello! I'm a self-employed multidisciplinary creative professional (photographer/creative director/media background) who relocated to the Netherlands from the U.S. in February. I have a valid visa & residence permit, a business registered with the KvK, a growing network of Dutch friends and a sense of community, having previously spent extended stays in the NL twice in two years. This time, my move is permanent. I have never felt more at home than I do with my feet in the ground in the Netherlands. I am in LOVE with Het Gooi region, where I'm and am temporarily staying. I know every trail, every neighborhood, farm and public transport access from Bussum, Huizen and Blaricum to Laren and Hilversum. I'm also familiar with Naarden, LOVE Baarn, Hoorn, Haarlem, Amersfoot and Den Haag - where I have friends. I'm aware of the housing shortage, and will happily consider any availability within a 90-minute commute by public transportation to Amsterdam, where much of my work seems to be. I have an excellent rental history and personal references and I care for my space. I have a green thumb, love people, adore animals, art, am newly enthusiastic about golf, opera, and even the raindrops most complain about - there's serenity in gray days, too! I would love my independence and a studio or apartment, but I also understand the housing shortage yields few or unaffordable rentals, so I'd be open to discussing sharing in a bright, comfortable place with someone kind and respectful, who appreciates some privacy and room to breathe. :) I have no pets, but huge bonus if you do! ;) Registration is necessary.
