My name is Rui Marques, I am Portuguese and 25 years old. Our monthly payment is provided by the Foundation for Science and Technology, which is the government entity in Portugal responsible for paying PhD students. Each of us earns 2218€ per month, with also a first additional income for housing deposits and travel. We can provide the needed documents to prove this. Both of us are well humored, calm, organized and unproblematic people. We both give a lot of importance to a clean, organized and quiet home.We enjoy hanging out and getting to know new places, go on walks and participate in the community around us but also enjoy cozy days at home watching movies and TV shows. I must add that I have already lived in Leiden for 6 months from july to december 2025 (I can also send proof of this and provide contact of my previous landlords ). Hoi! Mijn naam is Daphne (25 jaar, vrouw) en ik ben op zoek naar een nieuwe woonplek voor de lange termijn. Sinds september 2025 ben ik met mijn eerste baan gestart als onderzoekstechnicus/onderzoeker bij de microbiologie afdeling aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam, echter woon ik nu nog in mijn studentenstad Wageningen wat een reistijd van (minimaal, als het OV meezit) 4 uur per dag met zich meebrengt om op mijn werk en thuis te geraken. Daarnaast zal ik in juli 2026 mijn huidige woning uitgezet worden, waardoor ik op zoek ben naar een nieuwe woning idealiter een stukje dichter bij mijn werk :). Ik ga zorgvuldig om met mijn woonruimte en vind het belangrijk dat een woning schoon en netjes blijft. Ik heb een vast werkritme en ben doordeweeks vooral gericht op werk en ontspanning thuis. In het weekend vind ik het gezellig om af en toe iets te ondernemen met vrienden, maar thuis hecht ik vooral aan rust en ontspanning. In mijn vrije tijd lees ik graag, ben ik creatief bezig (haken, breien, af en toe schilderen, bakken en koken) en breng ik graag tijd buiten door.
