Hallo! Mijn naam is Natan, en ik ben een 18-jarige student uit Heerenveen die momenteel zijn gymnasium afsluit op de middelbare school. Komend jaar begin ik aan mijn studie Mathematics aan de Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, met de ambitie om ook toelating te doen voor het conservatorium, waar ik hoofdvak piano wil gaan studeren. Het is mijn plan om beide studies tegelijkertijd voort te zetten. Hiervoor zoek ik dus een kamer in de regio Amsterdam en omstreken. Muziek is een grote passie van mij, vooral het spelen van de piano. Om ervoor te zorgen dat mijn huisgenoten geen last hebben van geluidsoverlast, ben ik van plan om gebruik te maken van een digitale of hybride piano, waardoor ik met een koptelefoon kan spelen. Mocht er toch enige overlast zijn, dan ben ik bereid om extra geluidsisolerende maatregelen te nemen om het comfort van mijn huisgenoten te waarborgen. Ik beschrijf mezelf als rustig en leergierig. Ik wil benadrukken dat, ondanks mijn sociale angst, ik juist heel graag gesprekken voer, ook met eventuele huisgenoten. Since I came here I fell in love with the city, my studies and the people surrounding me. I am Gabriela, I am half Spanish half Brazilian, I immediately felt identified with Groningen due its international and inclusive environment. I study Biomedical Engineering and in my free time I love doing sports, doing art, cooking and exploring the city. My goals for next year are living in a cozy environment and finding a part time job. I am a motivated 3rd-year Data Science student at the TU/e and TiU, passing all of my courses with high grades. Furthermore, my commitment to self-development allows me to be on track to obtain the cum laude honor on my diploma. In my professional life, I am highly ambitious and this led me to seek and fulfill an internship at ASML. (I intend to take on new challenges when studying in Amsterdam). In my free time, I love playing chess - I’ve been competing at the national and international level since I was eight years old, which allowed me to become a medalist at multiple national championships (I also won the Dutch Student Chess Championship in 2023). Furthermore, apart from my personal income, I am also financially supported by my family and their income greatly surpasses the rent.
