Hi there, I am looking for a room or a studio in Amsterdam starting in July. I have lived in Amsterdam since September 2025 and have come here for my university studies. I will be continuing into my second year of studying Human Geography and Urban Planning at the University of Amsterdam in September of this year. I am looking for a place where registration is possible, and I am ideally looking for a 2-year contract. However, 1 year is also possible. I’m a German and Canadian citizen but originally grew up in Bali until I was 12. Before moving to Amsterdam last year, I lived in Berlin for 3 years, where I was studying and received my International Baccalaureate diploma. I took a year off from studying, during which I volunteered for 3 months at a yoga retreat center outside of Barcelona. After my volunteering experience, I moved back to Berlin, where I was working full-time as a receptionist at a boutique hotel. I'm a respectful tenant and value keeping my personal space clean and organized. I value keeping a healthy routine for myself by going to the gym or joining workout classes and cooking healthy, nutritious meals. My name is Anna, I’m 20 years old and originally from Dortmund, Germany. Traveling is generally something I kinda found my passion with, exploring new cultures, traditions seeing beautiful nature and meeting new people :) A little hobby of mine is doing pictures with the old camera of my dad and capturing my favorite moments with it. I currently work at Poke Perfect in the city, which I really enjoy. Both at work and while playing tennis I’m often surrounded by Dutch people, so I’ve been trying to learn Dutch step by step and Duolingo is also reminding me everyday🤪. For me, a good balance in a shared apartment is really important: having time and space for yourself, but also enjoying spontaneous chats in the kitchen, movie nights, cooking together or just having a funny evening together. Cleanliness is also something that’s important to me. I like keeping shared spaces tidy and making sure everyone feels comfortable in the house. I’m flexible with the move-in date and would also happily move in immediately.
