I'm looking for a place to live, ideally near Nelson Mandela Park, for the duration of my internship starting September 1 for six months. I chose to do this internship not only to improve my computer skills, but also to discover the country, its people, customs, and food.

I’m Caro from Cologne, Germany and I’ll be starting my Master’s at Leiden University in International Organisation this September (but I am already willing to pay rent for August). I recently completed my Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and worked alongside my studies for quite some time at a the radio. Thuis in Brussel ben ik een gezellige en levendige boel gewend: ik woon daar met mijn ouders, mijn broertje van 10 en mijn tweelingbroertje en -zusje van 4. Door dat dynamische gezin ben ik heel zorgzaam en zelfstandig ingesteld, heb ik geleerd om goed tegen een stootje te kunnen en weet ik als geen ander hoe je rekening houdt met elkaar in één huis. Omdat Utrecht een gloednieuw avontuur voor me is, zoek ik niet zomaar een vierkante meter, maar een gezellige thuisbasis. Ik ben perfect tweetalig (Nederlands en Frans) en spreek ook Engels, wat handig is in een internationale stad. Daarnaast neem ik graag wat Brusselse gezelligheid mee naar Utrecht: ik ben altijd in voor samen eten, borrelen of een filmavond, en als goedmaker voor mijn Belgische accent wil ik best een keer echte Vlaamse stoofvlees of wafels voor het huis maken! Uiteraard snap ik de balans tussen gezelligheid en studie, en is ook schoonmaken of een eigen taak in huis oppakken voor mij de normaalste zaak van de wereld. I’m Cristina, 25 years old, and I’ve been living in Amsterdamfor a while now. I work full-time in digital marketing as a team lead at an agency, and besides that I also run my own jewelry art studio at Treehouse NDSM. Most of my free time somehow ends up in the studio making jewelry or metal sculptures, which I genuinely love. I’d say I’m a very open-minded, friendly, and easygoing person. I like having a warm and comfortable home atmosphere, where everyone feels relaxed and at ease.
