Hi, My name is Luísa, I’m a 24-year-old Portuguese girl, and I’m in my first year of the Master’s program in Museum Studies at the University of Amsterdam (UvA). My masters is 1 year and a half long, and at the moment I’m not having classes: I’m doing a 32h/week internship and also working at Van Gogh’s museum restaurant and coffee space. I want to stay in Amsterdam for the next 2/3 years and so, I am looking for something long-term before my contract at my current space ends in august - as we all know Amsterdam is a nightmare when it comes to housing. A bit more about me: As you can tell from the program I’m enrolled in, I’m very passionate about art and culture, and my hobbies are closely tied to that. I love going to the cinema, exhibitions, and museums, spending a quiet evening reading or crocheting by candlelight, and when I’m in Portugal, my guitar and violin are also a big part of my free time activities. Another major part of my life and my priorities is sports. I love my solo time at gym and, especially, yoga and running are my therapies.

Heyy! Ik ben Noor, 20 jaar, en woon nu nog met mijn ouders en broertje in Amsterdam. De laatste tijd merk ik dat ik echt zin heb om een plekje voor mezelf te hebben :) Ik zit in het derde jaar van mijn bachelor Psychologie aan de UvA en werk in een heel leuk café in het Erasmuspark (het heet Terrasmus 😉). Daarnaast zit ik bij studentenroeivereniging Skøll, al ben ik er vooral voor de gezelligheid en de borrels, niet zozeer het roeien 😅. Via Skøll heb ik een fantastische groep meiden leren kennen met wie ik elke dinsdag samen eet en tot in de late uurtjes klets. Het lijkt me leuk om in een huis te wonen waar af en toe samen dingen worden gedaan, zoals etentjes, feestjes of festivals. Maar gewoon samen op de bank hangen en een slechte serie kijken vind ik ook heerlijk (een aanrader is below deck!) Verder ben ik over het algemeen best rustig, alleen ook een tikje chaotisch.
