Goedendag, Ik ben deeltijd PhD-student aan de Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam, bij de faculteit filosofie. Ik heb een dubbele nationaliteit, Duits en Zuid-Afrikaans, en woon al ongeveer twee jaar in Gouda (Zuid-Holland). Daarvoor heb ik in Brussel (ongeveer 7 jaar) en in Berlijn (ongeveer 1,5 jaar) gestudeerd en gewerkt. Gouda bevalt me goed, het was perfect om mijn proefschrift te schrijven, maar de verhuurder verkoopt het huis en ik moet dus vóór augustus van dit jaar verhuizen. I like to have meaningful conversations, and enjoy the occasional social event. Overall, however, I prefer a quieter peaceful environment. I’m a Master’s student at TU Delft with a full scholarship, who also works part time as an Engineer remotely. I live with my partner, who is a PhD Employee in TU Delft starting November 2025 (meaning we have stable income). My partner has lived in the NL since 2023 for his Master’s degree in TU Delft, and I joined him near the end of 2025. Our current housing only lasts until March 2026 due to renovation purposes. We are a clean, organised, and quiet couple, and hope to be able to relocate to a housing with longterm contract.

Beste verhuurder, Ik ben Gijs, 26 jaar, en ik heb mijn Bachelor of Science in Accountancy behaald aan de Hogeschool Utrecht. De financiële sector was niet voor mij, dus 2 maart ben ik begonnen als IT trainee bij Qquest in Utrecht. Ik heb meer dan genoeg spaargeld om de borg en dergelijke te betalen, en sinds maart heb ik dus vast loon. Momenteel woon ik nog bij mijn ouders. Het is dus hoog tijd om een plek voor mezelf te vinden. Eerder heb ik een jaar in Tilburg op kamers gewoond, omdat ik daar toen studeerde. Mijn vrienden omschrijven mij als rustig, betrouwbaar en zelfstandig. Doordeweeks kijk ik graag films, doe ik aan fitness en voetbal ik bij DVSU (Lunetten). Verder heb ik geen huisdieren en rook ik niet. Mijn salaris is €2765 per maand (inclusief vakantiegeld).
