I'm quiet, clean, and easygoing—I currently work as a music therapist and teach violin to kids, so I keep fairly regular hours. Outside of music I practice Zen meditation and watch way too many animated shows. I grew up on the East Coast and have lived in New York, New Mexico, and Seattle, so I'm adaptable and used to navigating new cities. I'm looking for a studio or a room in a shared apartment (ideally at least semi-furnished, private or semi-private bathroom) in The Hague or nearby — Delft also works great. Budget €800–1,100/month. My grant is guaranteed funding from the US government, so there are no income concerns. Happy to do a video call with any landlord or housemates before committing — I think it's important for everyone to feel comfortable.

Once my freelance visa is approved, I will be working as a groomer five days a week. I plan to work at a salon where I can bring my dogs with me, so they will not be left alone at home.
