Hello! I'm Isabelle, a second-year Master's student in Museology and Curatorship at the University of Bologna. This fall I'll be in Utrecht for a curatorial internship at an art gallery downtown (September - December). I'm used to living with others, of all ages and backgrounds, for quite some time now. Organized and tidy, I actually enjoy cleaning! I can be a bit reserved, but consider myself very adaptable; whether you like having a cup of coffee together or do your own thing, I am easy to communicate with. I value open dialogue and a friendly environment, as I believe your home is your most important safe space. I've lived independently and worked as a freelance translator and language teacher since I was in undergrad, so my finances are in order due to current freelance work, a university scholarship and my upcoming (part-time) internship at the gallery. I'm Chani, 27, and I work in quality assurance for medical technology. For the past five years I've built and run the quality systems behind medical devices , most recently as senior QA officer on an autonomous medical robot, and now as quality and risk lead at Niavicta, where I'm also co-founder. I have an M.A. in International Management, with a thesis on the adoption of autonomous medical devices that was graded with distinction, and a B.Sc. in Physiology and Psychology, cum laude. I'm originally from South Africa, where I worked in medical device regulation before moving to the Netherlands in 2023. I've been in Utrecht since then, so this would be a local move rather than a fresh start, I know the area and I'm settled here. Outside work I'm at the gym a few times a week and I walk a lot; it's how I get away from a screen. The rest of my free time mostly goes into programming , I'm usually building something, learning a new tool, or taking a system apart to see how it works. As a housemate I'm tidy, self-sufficient and easy to live alongside. I cook properly, clean up after myself, and I'm not someone who fills the house with people. I like coming home to a calm place at the end of the day. I'm not a student, which in practice means a steady income, a predictable weekday routine, and no plans to move out at the end of a semester.
