Hi everyone! I'm Lola, 22 years old and from Vienna, Austria. I'll be moving to the Netherlands at the end of August to get my Masters in Crisis and Security Management at Leiden University (The Hague Campus). Ideally, I'm trying to find a room in a shared apartment/house with roommates or a small apartment/studio either in The Hague, Leiden or Delft to rent for a little more than a year starting mid-August. I'm very excited to be studying "abroad" (or away from home, I guess) again, as I find that experiencing new cultures is one of the best things a young person can do. I'm a huge fan of traveling and I got my Bachelor's degree in the United States, so I think living somewhere different in Europe for my Masters will be a cool change. I'm used to living with people, I've always grown up with siblings and spent the last four years living with 1, 2 and all the way up to 6 people, so I'd say I'm quite adaptable and know how roommate life works. As for my free time, I looove all things food and going out to eat, hanging out with my roommates, reading, going out on the weekends but also having fun nights in. I would describe myself as outgoing, responsible, independent, easygoing, and fun to be around. I'm also a very active person, I've played tennis my whole life and played college sports while in the US but generally enjoy most sports (especially volleyball and football). I don't speak Dutch yet BUT I'll be learning, so for now I hope my German and English (and humble French) will suffice :). Excited to meet you guys!!

Mijn naam is patrick, 35 jaar, en na jaren thuis te hebben gewoond heb ik een aantal jaren op kamers gewoond in Winschoten waar ik zowel geboren als getogen ben en wil nu mijn horizon verbreden daarom heb ik afgelopen jaar toen ik de kans kreeg om voor een paar maanden in Groningen te gaan wonen de kans met bij de handen aan gegrepen en het is me zeer goed bevallen maar zoals ik al aangaf ging het om een tijdelijke woonruimte waar ik in december uit moest daarom ben ik momenteel terug in Winschoten ik sta al aantal jaren ingeschreven bij woningcorporaties tot nu toe zonder succes daarom probeer ik het op deze manier. Ik ben niet erg kieskeurig ik vind de locatie (Stad Groningen) of omgeving belangrijker dan de woonruimte zelf wel is het belangrijk dat bij een huurwoning huurtoeslag mogelijk is mijn voorkeur gaat natuurlijk uit naar een (studio/appartement) maar sta ook open voor een Kamer met gezellige huisgenoten. Over mij: Ik ben rustig, netjes en sociaal. Ik hou van dagjes uit, van wandelen, foto graveren filmavonden en heb een passie voor muziek en ga graag naar festivals & opstap. ik rook niet en ben een gezelligheid drinker, verder hou ik van gezellige sfeer en ik weet ook goed om een gezellige sfeer te creëren. In mijn vrije tijd ga ik graag een rondje fietsen of een boek lezen in de zon. Zowel een zelfstandige woning als een met huisgenoten lijken me leuk, ik ben vooral op zoek naar een mooie locatie. Hoi, Ik ben Myrthe,19 jaar, woon in het mooie Heukelum en ben net geslaagd voor mijn vwo eindexamen. Mijn hobby's zijn spelletjes doen met vrienden, mijn oude schakelbrommer/karten, badminton en naar concerten gaan. Ik vind koken ook leuk maar het opeten is toch echt het leukste onderdeel. En ik ben gek op reizen. Ik heb ook nog 8 jaar muziek gemaakt maar ik ben een paar maanden geleden gestopt met trombone spelen omdat ik de sfeer bij de vereniging niet meer trok. En als allerlaatste ben ik jeugdleider bij mijn vrijwilligerswerk, waar ik mee stop als ik naar Enschede kom. Momenteel werk ik 4 dagen als hovenier als vakantiebaantje. En ik werk al meer als een jaar in een Grieks restaurant waar ik leidinggevende ben over de bediening en de keuken. Ik ben een rustig persoon die altijd wel in is om wat te doen omdat ik eigenlijk niet zo goed stil kan zitten. Ik ga mechanical engineering studeren op de UT. A bit about me: I chose this field because I am naturally curious and passionate about understanding the world. I love travelling and meeting new people and cultures. I’d describe myself as a social, open-minded and tidy person. In my free time I enjoy exploring, reading, cooking or just spending time with friends. I am a calm person, I don't smoke, and I have no payment defaults or debt records. As a Swedish student, I receive a study allowance from the state, and I have also applied for an additional Erasmus+ grant, so my financing is taken care of. For the past four years I have owned and lived in my own apartment in Sweden, so I know how to take good care of a home. I am calm, responsible and a non-smoker.

I love traveling, photography, discovering things about new people and cultures, trying new sports and music. I know how to make some cocktails such as mojitos, palomas, gin and caipirinhas.
