Hi! I’m João, 25, originally from Portugal 🇵🇹, and I’ve been living in the Netherlands for about a year and a half. I currently work as a Lead Barista at Wakuli, so I have a stable job and I’m looking for a place that I can happily call home for the long term. I’d describe myself as open, calm, collected and empathetic. I’m quite social and extroverted, but I also really appreciate having some quiet time to myself. As a housemate, I’m clean and tidy, and I like keeping the house feeling comfortable and well looked after. I’m also a good listener and I really value having a respectful and easy-going atmosphere at home. Outside of work, I love climbing, going for coffee, discovering small concerts and spending time at the beach. I’m also really into producing music, and I can get very excited talking about music. So if you accidentally ask me about an artist, album or song I love, there’s a good chance you’ll get a much longer answer than you expected 😂 I’m vegetarian and I love cooking, especially trying new things and sharing food with people. I’d be very happy in a house where people are friendly and open to occasionally cooking together, having a coffee, going to a concert, or simply hanging out, while also respecting each other’s space. I’m mainly looking for a studio or a small shared house with a few nice people. Since I have a stable job, I’m hoping to find somewhere I can stay for a long time and really make it feel like home. Hi, I am moving to Delft or Den Haag from Germany to do my master's degree in applied mathematics at TU Delft. About me: I absolutely love doing sports! Whatever you may suggest I'm down. Mainly I'm going running or cycling but have been thinking about picking soccer back up. I enjoy planning activities spontaneously. I'm just one call away from going for a run, a hike, to the park, cooking dinner together or grabbing a quick beer at the local pub. As my choice of degree may have given away I enjoy pondering complex problems and love to learn. Recently, I have picked up reading again after beeing peer pressured by some friends, which has added a new facet to my life. For the rest of August I am fixated on learning Dutch as much as possible. I have already lived in a shared apartment during my bachelor's degree.
