My name is Giulia; I was born and raised in Genoa, Italy. Ever since I was a child, I’ve always dreamed of moving abroad to build a life in a new, international, and open-minded country. In recent years, I’ve managed to turn this dream into a concrete plan, deeply convinced that the Netherlands is the perfect place for me. What attracts me to this country is the people's open-mindedness and the balanced, independent lifestyle. I’ve already visited the country twice, including a cultural exchange where I got a taste of an environment where I see myself growing and studying. The main reason for my move would be the psychology program I’d like to pursue at the University of Leiden, one of the best in Europe. In addition, the campus is located next to the ice skating rink—the sport of my dreams, which I am unable to practice in Italy. So living in Leiden would allow me to study the subject I love and practice the sport I’ve always been passionate about, but have never been able to pursue competitively. For all these reasons, finding a home in the Netherlands is not just a logistical necessity, but a way to realize my life plan. I wish to settle in a quiet and welcoming environment, and as a responsible, organized, and tidy person, it would be an honor to take care of the home as if it were my own. Hi! I'm Roni and I'm looking for a flat/room. A bit about me: I'm from Barcelona and currently I work at the VU as a lecturer. I work from the office always, and weekends I can be out and about quite a bit. So even if I am probably not going to be around much, I still want to find a place that feels like a home and where people take care of the shared space. I have lived in many different shared houses already, I'm used to it and I'm fairly easy to get along with and adaptable. I am a very clean person (I have a passion for ironing) and also not a great cook (so I won't be taking up many hours the kitchen). I'm into hobbies ranging from french film to house parties. I will talk to my family quite a bit on the phone, but I have learnt to tone down the Spanish volume to acceptable standards. Also, not a smoker!
