Wij zijn Joris en Meike. We zijn allebei opgegroeid in Deventer en wonen mmenteel in Maastricht, waar we allebei hebben gestudeerd. Omdat we graag weer dichter richting ‘huis’ willen wonen, willen we naar Nijmegen verhuizen. Joris gaat na de zomer zeer waarschijnlijk fulltime voor de overheid werken in ’s-Hertogenbosch. Ik werk momenteel bij het Openbaar Ministerie en start binnenkort met mijn master aan de universiteit in Nijmegen. Omdat we beiden veel met het openbaar vervoer reizen, gaat onze voorkeur gaat uit naar een appartement op loopafstand van een station. Wij zijn allebei netjes, rustig en handig. We wonen inmiddels ruim drie jaar in ons appartement in Maastricht en hebben in die tijd nooit hulp van onze huisbaas hoeven vragen, bijvoorbeeld voor reparaties of onderhoud. Wij zoeken dan ook een fijne, rustige plek in Nijmegen die we ons thuis kunnen noemen.

Hi! I’m Andrea, and I’m really excited about spending some time in Amsterdam and experiencing the city from within. I’ve already had the chance to live abroad, including several years in Ireland, so I’m used to moving to a new country, adapting to new environments and enjoying the experience of living somewhere different. I now work remotely in marketing, which gives me the flexibility to work from Amsterdam while continuing with my current job. I’ve visited Amsterdam several times and already have a lovely circle of friends there, so the city feels quite familiar to me. In fact, the first time I visited, I remember thinking: “One day, I’ll live here.” After having the experience of living abroad and feeling ready for a new adventure, I think that time might finally be now! I’m an easy-going, respectful and tidy person. I really enjoy having a clean and peaceful place to come back to, and I always make sure to take good care of wherever I stay. There’s a Spanish saying I really like: “A tidy home, a peaceful mind” and it’s definitely something I try to live by. I’m also happy to provide references from previous landlords or rental agencies, as well as proof of savings and employment if needed. I understand that trusting someone with your property is important, so I’m more than happy to provide any information that gives you peace of mind. Outside of work, I love travelling, discovering new places and finding cosy cafés to try different coffees.
