29yo Aussie homeowner looking for a place with registration

Our names are Zak and João and we are a married couple who met in London and are excited to begin our lives in The Netherlands. Long-term, we plan to start a gluten-free baked goods business, but in the meantime Zak will work as a pastry chef and João as a hairdresser. We are primarily interested in a studio or 1-bedroom flat, but are open to living in a room in a shared flat for some time. Zak loves to cook and bake and is more than happy to share meals and treats! We will be working outside the apartment. We are very friendly and social but understand and appreciate peace and quiet.

In mijn vrije tijd kook ik graag, sport ik regelmatig en reis ik naar plekken met een rijke eet- en cultuurtraditie. Ik ben rustig, netjes en hecht veel waarde aan een stabiele woonomgeving. Hello together! My name is Moritz, I am 24 years old from Aachen (Germany) and I will be starting an internship at the European Space Research and Technology Centre (ESTEC) on 1 May 2026, lasting until 31 October 2026. For the time being, I am searching for a small room or flat in the Noordwijk area, so that I can commute to ESTEC every day and enjoy the student life in the Netherlands a little bit :) Overall, I am currently a Master's student at RWTH Aachen University that is working in research and has a big interest in anything related to technology, sports (running, cycling, swimming, volleyball), photography and culture. As of now, I am about to graduate and move onto the PhD programme at my university. Previously, I also spent two trimesters in Paris at École Polytechnique (X), where I really enjoyed getting to know and spending time with the other students. I am now hoping for a similar experience in the Netherlands! Regarding the language barrier, I am sure that I will be able to understand one or two words of Dutch as German native speaker. But in any case, I also speak fluent English and a little French. When it comes to financials, I will be covered with more than enough money from the ESA internship, my monthly support from the parents and a scholarship I get from the Porsche AG.
