Hi, I am Sören, 20 years old and from Germany will study International Studies in Den Haag. About me: I have a passion for anything related to music. I love playing the saxophone or the piano, going to concerts and to be inspired by the people around me what music to listen to. Apart from that I love to travel and spent the 2 year after finshing highschool first on a 8 month trip in Costa Rica, Panama and Nicaragua and then on a 4 month trip in Japan and South Korea. The pictures were all taken there. Cooking, playing volleyball, playing poker and beeing a movie nerd are some side-quests I also like to do in my free time. I also really like to have a community and go into deep conversations as well as on fun adventures with the people I live together with. Ik ben Mara, 22 jaar en woon momenteel in Nijmegen. Momenteel die doe ik een tussenjaar na een Bachelor Psychologie. Tijdens mijn studententijd stond ik altijd open voor contact met medestudenten. Zo nam ik deel aan een studentenvereniging gericht op theater en deed ik mee aan verschillende cursussen in sport zoals badminton en boksen. Met vrienden vind ik het erg leuk goede gesprekken te voeren, te wandelen en iets te drinken in een café. Zelf sport ik graag, houd ik van tekenen, lezen en series en films kijken. Ook werk ik al anderhalf jaar bij een mentale support lijn waarbij ik emotionele ondersteuning bied aan jongvolwassenen. Tijdens mijn tussenjaar ben ik gaan reizen door verschillende landen in Europa en doe ik vrijwilligerswerk waarbij ik in contact kom met mensen van verschillende religies en culturen. Zo werk ik werkte ik in een boeddhistisch centrum en een vluchtelingenkamp. Dit sluit ook aan bij de master die ik wil gaan doen in Groningen; Applied Social Psychology. Daarnaast heb ik ook allerlei verschillende sporten uitgeprobeerd zoals zeilen, go karting en duiken. Ik zou mezelf beschrijven als iemand die open staat voor contact met anderen, nieuwsgierig, hardwerkend en betrouwbaar is. In verband met mijn master zoek ik vanaf uiterlijk september een kamer in Groningen :)

Hi! My name is Olivia, and I'm from Chicago in the United States. This fall I'll be moving to Amsterdam to begin a Master's degree in Brain and Cognitive Sciences at the University of Amsterdam. I expect to work part time while in Amsterdam, have large savings from the past two years of working, and will be receiving financial support from my parents. I am prepared to pay 3-6 months of rent upon move in. I'm excited to experience life in a new city and am looking for a place where I can feel at home while pursuing my studies. Ik ben Leonie, 20 jaar, ik kom uit Tilburg en in september begin ik met de opleiding Muziektherapie op de HAN. Ik ben een vrolijke, zorgzame, sociale (en opgeruimde) meid die de Brabantse gezelligheid met zich meeneemt. Ik hou ontzettend van zingen en gitaar en piano spelen (en kan dat ook in stilte doen met een koptelefoon!!) Verder ben ik in mijn vrije tijd veel bij de kindertelefoon waar ik vrijwilligster ben.
