Ik ben Menno, 17 (in mei 18) jaar en ga aankomend schooljaar beginnen aan de studie mechanical engineering aan de TU. Ik kom uit Urk en hoop voor de komende studentenjaren in Enschede te kunnen doorbrengen. Ik ben een sociale en actieve gast die niet graag de hele avond alleen op zijn kamer zit. Daar horen natuurlijk ook een aantal hobby's bij. Ik hou van muziek maken en doe dit als slagwerker bij Showband Urk, waar we ook van gezelligheid houden. Ook ben ik bezig met audio- en videotechniek. Dit doe ik als geluidsman voor een kerk, maar ook bij feestjes kan je me vinden om de techniek te regelen. Ook kan een stukje sport niet ontbreken. Ik doe de laatste tijd aan hardlopen maar diverse sporten vind ik leuk om te doen.

Before starting university I spent a gap year solo-travelling through South America, working in Maui and honing my surf skills, and spending a month in Bali surfing twice a day and meeting travellers from all over the world.
