Hello everybody, I’m Alex (26) and recently finished my masters at the TU Delft, and just got a job in Amsterdam. Having worked and studied in the Netherlands for quite some time now, I am capable of understanding dutch, speaking it myself still poses a great challenge (I’m on it, I promise 😔, but it's great to know that dutch is also spoken in the house so I can hopefully master this language). So far, I’ve not only shared apartments during my student live to save money but to also do activities with my flatmates. From just talking in the evenings, playing board games to going out together etc. and I would like to continue doing so. But of course, everybody needs his/her privacy as well, especially after long days at work. I’d describe myself as a clean and tidy person and I'd like my roommates to contribute to a clean flat as well. In my spare time, I love to go to the cinema and do/watch all sorts of sports, primarily football. When it comes to movies, I am always down to watch one and ususally go to the cinema at least once but usually multiple times a week. When I'm out and about, you'll usually also catch me carry around one of my analoge cameras, with which I love to take mediocre pictures. A little perk I bring as an housemate is my sewing machine. So if any clothes need to be fixed or altered, or you have an idea for a more elaborate project, just knock on my door (For more elaborate sewing projects, my success rate is probably around 50 %, so don't get too crazy ideas lol). In terms of viewings, I'm just abt to leave the country as we speak, so I might have to resort to an online viewing at first, depending on when the exact date would be.
