Hoi! Ik ben Daniel (27), oorspronkelijk uit Duitsland, en vanaf oktober begin ik als fulltime onderzoeksmedewerker aan de TU Delft, waar ik onderzoek doe binnen de sociologie van klimaatfinanciering. Mijn contract is voor één jaar, maar het kan uitgroeien tot een promotietraject. Voor nu kijk ik vooral of een carrière in de wetenschap bij mij past. Ik heb net mijn studie in Londen afgerond en kijk er erg naar uit om aan mijn eerste "echte" baan te beginnen. Een kleine waarschuwing: ik spreek nog geen Nederlands (alleen Duits, Engels en een beetje Spaans), maar ik ben zeker van plan om het te leren. Ik ben een ontspannen en gezellige huisgenoot, kook graag (meestal vegetarisch) en ben makkelijk om mee samen te wonen. Ik woon al jaren in gedeelde huizen en vind dat nog steeds erg leuk. Of het huis nu heel sociaal is of juist wat rustiger, allebei is prima – zolang we niet alleen als vreemden langs elkaar heen leven. In mijn vrije tijd sport ik graag, vooral rugby, ben ik graag buiten, speel ik piano en drink ik af en toe graag een biertje of iets anders gezelligs. Samen eten lijkt me ook leuk. Mijn vriendin woont in Amsterdam, dus ik zal haar af en toe bezoeken. Het lijkt me leuk om jullie en het huis beter te leren kennen. Stuur gerust een berichtje! Groetjes, Daniel English: Hi! I’m Daniel (27), originally from Germany, and I’ll be starting a full-time position as a research fellow at TU Delft this October, working in the sociology of climate finance. I’ve just finished my studies in London, and I’m really excited to begin my first “real” job. A small heads-up: I don’t speak Dutch yet (only German, English and Spanish-ish), but learning it is the plan. I’m easygoing, love to cook (mostly veggie) and generally uncomplicated to live with. I’ve lived in shared flats for many years and genuinely enjoy it. Whether the flat is more social or more on the quiet side, I’m happy with both - as long as we are not just co-existing as strangers. In my free time, I like doing sports, especially rugby, being outdoors, playing the piano, and grabbing the occasional cold drink. Shared meals are definitely an option as well. Heyhallo, Mijn naam is Laura, ik ben een sociaal en rustig persoon en ik studeer biomedische technologie aan de HvA. Ik heb al best wat studie ervaring, woon ook al een langere tijd uit huis en ik vind het fijn om een goede band te hebben met huisgenoten. Verder vind ik het fijn om sportief bezig te zijn, kan je me veel vinden op het ijs, maar geniet ik ook erg van rustige chill dagjes. Origineel kom ik uit Groningen, waar m'n ouders ook nog wonen, maar ik heb de laatste jaren in Enschede gewoond. Ik ben iemand die wel veel in het huis zou zijn en hier en daar een keer naar m'n familie zou gaan in weekenden of vakanties.
