Dear All, My name is Maxime, I look forward to studying Industrial Engineering at Twente University from this September onwards, and I am therefore looking for welcoming shared apartment in Enschede that I can call home during my studies. I am 19 years old and have lived in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, for the past 18 years, where I attended both English- and German-language schools. I am a German national by origin and therefore often spent my summer holidays in southern Germany, in the Black Forest and the Alpine area south of Munich. Additionally, I’ve travelled to remote parts of the world, particularly in Asia, Europe and the US. I am calm, easy-going and reliable. I fit in easily; I am happy to help and care about creating a home where everyone feels comfortable. At the same time, I am independent and also enjoy spending time on my own. One of my greatest passions is fishing - I was very happy to discover that it is also possible to fish in and around Enschede. I also love downhill skiing in the Alps and once in Japan, as my challenge is moguls. When skiing in Austria, I always look forward to the traditional dish Kaiserschmarrn. Another passion of mine is solving Rubik’s cubes in all kinds of shapes, sizes and styles—so if anyone in the house ever has a cube that needs solving, I will be happy to help! Also happy to have a round of table tennis together. I also love movies, especially older films with strong stories, meaningful messages, and great acting—for example, Quentin Tarantino's films. Hoi! Ik ben Ishara, 22 jaar oud, en momenteel bezig met afstuderen in Toegepaste Psychologie. Vanaf september start ik aan een nieuwe bachelor Psychologie aan de Radboud University. Sinds mijn 18e woon ik al op kamers in Nijmegen en inmiddels heb ik hier echt mijn eigen leven opgebouwd. Op dit moment woon ik in een studentenhuis met een vrij zelfstandige kamer (eigen keuken en ongeveer 30m²), maar ik merk dat ik nu toe ben aan een volgende stap: een eigen studio of appartement waar ik wat meer rust en mijn eigen ritme kan hebben. Ik ben erg zelfstandig, rustig en netjes. Ik hou van een schoon huis en ben eerlijk gezegd een beetje een stress-schoonmaker, er gaat dus wekelijks wel een doekje over alles heen en de stofzuiger wordt regelmatig gebruikt 😄. Ik ga niet vaak uit, organiseer geen feestjes en ga respectvol om met mijn woonomgeving. Natuurlijk heb ik soms vrienden of familie over de vloer, maar verder leef ik vrij rustig. In mijn vrije tijd hou ik van lezen, spelletjes spelen, samen eten met vrienden en gewoon gezelligheid opzoeken. Ik zoek vooral een fijne plek waar ik me thuis kan voelen. Omdat ik volledig op mezelf ga wonen, vind ik het ook belangrijk om goed en open contact te hebben met een huisbaas/verhuurder en duidelijke communicatie te hebben met elkaar.
