Goedendag, Ik ben deeltijd PhD-student aan de Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam, bij de faculteit filosofie. Ik heb een dubbele nationaliteit, Duits en Zuid-Afrikaans, en woon al ongeveer twee jaar in Gouda (Zuid-Holland). Daarvoor heb ik in Brussel (ongeveer 7 jaar) en in Berlijn (ongeveer 1,5 jaar) gestudeerd en gewerkt. Gouda bevalt me goed, het was perfect om mijn proefschrift te schrijven, maar de verhuurder verkoopt het huis en ik moet dus vóór augustus van dit jaar verhuizen. I like to have meaningful conversations, and enjoy the occasional social event. Overall, however, I prefer a quieter peaceful environment. Ik ben Jan, volledige naam Jan Douwe, ik ben 20 jaar oud en zk zit in mijn eerste jaar bachelor van civiele techniek aan de TU Delft. Ik kom uit Rotterdam en ben toe aan een studentenkamer, om zo in het studentenleven van Delft te komen. Ik ben een rustige en geordende jongen die de studie zeker serieus neemt, maar ik hou ook van een drankje, een feestje of een andere activiteit. Vorig jaar heb ik gestudeerd in Eindhoven. Hier heb ik op kamers gezeten en bij de roeivereniging gezeten. Eindhoven bleek niet mijn stad te zijn dus dit jaar ben ik opnieuw begonnen in Delft. Ik zit nog niet bij een vereniging, maar ben van plan volgend jaar bij Laga of Proteus te gaan.      Verder ben ik in mijn vrije tijd veel bezig met muziek. Ik spaar LPs en speel piano.
