My name is Rui Marques, I am Portuguese and 25 years old. I am looking for a studio/apartment/house for me and my girlfriend, Joana Ferreira, Portuguese and also 25 years old.  Both of us are doing our PhD in Cancer Researcher in Portugal, together with the Leiden University Medical Center. Our monthly payment is provided by the Foundation for Science and Technology, which is the government entity in Portugal responsible for paying PhD students. Each of us earns 2218€ per month, with also a first additional income for housing deposits and travel. We can provide the needed documents to prove this. Both of us are well humored, calm, organized and unproblematic people. We both give a lot of importance to a clean, organized and quiet home.We enjoy hanging out and getting to know new places, go on walks and participate in the community around us but also enjoy cozy days at home watching movies and TV shows. I’m a Master’s student at TU Delft with a full scholarship, who also works part time as an Engineer remotely. I live with my partner, who is a PhD Employee in TU Delft starting November 2025 (meaning we have stable income). My partner has lived in the NL since 2023 for his Master’s degree in TU Delft, and I joined him near the end of 2025. Our current housing only lasts until March 2026 due to renovation purposes. We are a clean, organised, and quiet couple, and hope to be able to relocate to a housing with longterm contract.
