Having lived in Delft for the past year, I already know the city well and have settled into a reliable routine balancing my studies and part-time work. I pride myself on being a highly respectful, meticulously organized, and non-smoking tenant who deeply values a clean and peaceful living environment. Beyond academics, I am a calm and friendly individual, easy to get along with. I enjoy cooking, appreciate a quiet atmosphere at home, and occasionally unwind with friends or housemates. After a year of exploring Delft and the Netherlands, I feel very much at home here and am looking to continue that in a comfortable, stable living situation.

I am a very spontaneus, adventurous and calm person, I like to play board games, climbing, reading, watching documentaries, go on hikes, extreme sports and parachuting solo: YES, I have many many hobbies! (like even making soaps, brewing beer, restoring furniture, if you can think it I tried it). If the vibes are there I also like to cook and perhaps hang out with my flatmates but hey, if the vibes are not there I am super chill and we can still entertain daily conversations whilst we cook. P.S. if you'll allow me to rent this room, I will most likely furnish it with furniture I fixed and restored myself and bring it all the way from Italy eheh. I understand some Dutch and can easily live with other Dutch students (I want to learn the language) but I am most comfortable in English, Spanish and Italian, however, I already lived in many Dutch households with 0 issues. I am not argumentative at all, I just like my own time and space, therefore if my co-tenants are clean and do not scream at random times at night, I will definitely bond with them and cause 0 issues. In my 5 years of house sharing, I never ever had issues with my flatmates or house owners. What else, I am relatively handy so I can definitely fix some basic issues in the house that need a fast look or assess the damages before calling a licensed handy men, which proved to be quite useful in some instances (I lived with some Spanish girls that had super long hair and I had to unclog the shower and change the sink a few times due to the hair going everywhere). I cannot guarantee that I will always know what to do in case something broke, but things happen and I can at least make sure we do not make it worse. What else, I am a very quiet and yet very extroverted person, or very talkative and introverted on some other days, an unusual combination I guess. Lastly, I will study management of cultural diversity at Tilburg, this to say that I do know how to talk and live respectfully both with men and women or with people of different cultures so you do not have to worry about not knowing how the other tenants will react to me. I cannot guarantee we will be best friends but I can guarantee that 0 complaints are going to come because of me!

Dag allemaal! Ik ben Rick, 24 jaar oud, woon momenteel nog in Amersfoort maar zou erg graag een gezellig huis/fijne plek voor mezelf vinden in Utrecht! Deze zomer heb ik mijn master Spatial Planning aan de UU afgerond. Hierna vond ik het tijd om even bij te komen en heb ik een reis naar Japan gemaakt. Na een aantal maanden goed genoten te hebben is mijn leven als werkloze inmiddels ten eind.. Sinds kort ben ik namelijk begonnen als Adviseur Ruimtelijke Ontwikkeling en houd ik mij o.a. bezig met onderwerpen als stedenbouw en klimaatadaptatie :). Verder wil ik daar naast blijven werken als muziekproducent wat ik al een aantal jaar heb gedaan als bijbaan naast het studeren. In mijn vrije tijd maak ik dan ook graag muziek (gelukkig ook met koptelefoon ;) ), en als ik wat afwisseling zoek maar wel creatief wil zijn ben ik bezig met fotografie of lekker even aan het tekenen. Ik vind het heerlijk om (samen) te koken en ben ook regelmatig in de sportschool te vinden of loop ik een rondje hard. Ook ben ik niet vies van gezelligheid, denk aan een huisfeestje of borrel, maar ik moet zeggen dat het regelmatig uitgaan er voor mij niet (meer) zo in zit. Hii, ik ben Maud 😊 Ik ben 23 jaar oud en studeer momenteel de master Global Markets and Local Creativities aan de Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam (een beetje te vergelijken met politiek en entrepreneurship 😉). Na mijn bachelor Liberal Arts and Sciences aan de University College Groningen ben ik nu bezig met een tweejarige master, waarvoor ik vanaf augustus/september op zoek ben naar een kamer in (de omgeving van) Rotterdam. Ik ben geboren in Amsterdam, maar heb ook een groot deel van mijn jeugd in Zweden en China gewoond. Toen ik 11 was verhuisde mijn familie eerst naar Zweden en later naar Shanghai, waardoor ik ben opgegroeid in een internationale omgeving en al vanaf jonge leeftijd Engelstalig onderwijs heb gevolgd. Mijn ouders en jongere broertjes wonen tegenwoordig in Malmö, waar ik deze zomer ook verblijf. In mijn vrije tijd sport ik graag, ga ik naar culturele evenementen en spreek ik af met vrienden. Tijdens mijn studententijd in Groningen heb ik gevoetbald bij een vriendenteam van de universiteit en gewerkt naast mijn studie. Tegenwoordig besteed ik veel tijd aan mijn master, die behoorlijk intensief is, waardoor ik regelmatig in de bibliotheek te vinden ben. Daarom ben ik ook een rustige huisgenoot die waarde hecht aan een fijne en prettige woonsfeer.
