Goedendag! My Name is Nora, I am 21 years old and I will be starting my Bachelor in Psychology at RU this September. Therefore I will be moving from Berlin (where I currently live) to Nijmegen and I am looking for a room to call home. Here is a little bit about myself: After graduating from high school in 2024, I worked, travelled in Europe for two months and lived with a family in Italy as an AuPair for three months. Through my abroad experiences I have learned to be independent and adaptable. Thanks to my exchange year in the United States in 2021/22, I speak both German and English fluently. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, practicing yoga, and spending time with friends. Besides that, I love discovering new cultures and meeting new people. I enjoy both social activities and having a calm space to relax and study. I have previously lived in a shared apartment, which was a great experience for me. My roommates and I got along really well, and we often spent time together. At the same time, we respected each other’s personal space, which made living together very easy and enjoyable. Therefore I am looking for a room in a shared appartment again.

I will be a masters student at Utrecht University this upcoming year, studying Applied Data Science and looking for housing from August 2026- July 2027. I have a guarantor and am open to living alone, or I have a roommate that is interested in living in a 2 bedroom with me.

Hi everyone! I'm Lola, 22 years old and from Vienna, Austria. I'll be moving to the Netherlands at the end of August to get my Masters in Crisis and Security Management at Leiden University (The Hague Campus). Ideally, I'm trying to find a room in a shared apartment/house with roommates or a small apartment/studio either in The Hague, Leiden or Delft to rent for a little more than a year starting mid-August. I'm very excited to be studying "abroad" (or away from home, I guess) again, as I find that experiencing new cultures is one of the best things a young person can do. I'm a huge fan of traveling and I got my Bachelor's degree in the United States, so I think living somewhere different in Europe for my Masters will be a cool change. I'm used to living with people, I've always grown up with siblings and spent the last four years living with 1, 2 and all the way up to 6 people, so I'd say I'm quite adaptable and know how roommate life works. As for my free time, I looove all things food and going out to eat, hanging out with my roommates, reading, going out on the weekends but also having fun nights in. I would describe myself as outgoing, responsible, independent, easygoing, and fun to be around. I'm also a very active person, I've played tennis my whole life and played college sports while in the US but generally enjoy most sports (especially volleyball and football).
