Hi everyone! 👋 My name is Juan, I am a 24-year-old from Spain, and I am looking for a new place to call home in Delft, Rotterdam, or The Hague starting in late August. I am about to begin a 2-year Master's program in Industrial Design Engineering at TU Delft (my classes start on August 31st). I am currently already living in the Netherlands! I have been staying in Utrecht for a summer job, but my temporary lease is ending soon, so I need to relocate closer to my university. Because I am already here, I am fully available to drop by for an in-person viewing or a coffee to see if we are a good match. A bit about me: I am a very tidy, responsible, and easy-going person. I speak fluent English and consider myself very adaptable. Since I will be quite busy with my Master's degree and I also plan to work part-time alongside my studies, I appreciate a clean, organized, and relatively calm environment at home. However, I am also very sociable! I would absolutely love to share a dinner, a beer, or a nice chat in the living room after a long day, while also respecting everyone's need for privacy and quiet time. Een woning huren, omgeven door natuur, is de perfecte plek voor mij. Ik ben een actieve en gezonde persoon. Ik doe dagelijks aan yoga en leid een gezond en ecologisch leven. Gedurende mijn drie jaar in Thailand heb ik in een huurhuis gewoond van een Thais echtpaar van 70 jaar dat geen Engels sprak, en de taalbarrière was nooit een probleem. Ze waren bijna als ouders voor mij en we onderhouden nog steeds contact. Deze ervaring heeft me in staat gesteld me gemakkelijk aan te passen aan nieuwe situaties en snel de cultuur en taal van het land dat zijn deuren voor mij opent te leren. Ik werk nu al zes maanden bij PostNL en ben gewend aan discipline en fysieke inspanning. Ik ben niet een roker, wat ik als een extra waarde beschouw voor elke woning. Ik geef er de voorkeur aan alleen te wonen, omdat ik erg schoon en ordelijk ben. Wanneer ik een woning deel, eindig ik altijd met het schoonmaken voor mijn huisgenoten, en dat is geen aangename situatie voor mij. Daarnaast heb ik een grote interesse om meer te leren over de Nederlandse cultuur en taal. Sinds ik zes maanden geleden naar Nederland ben gekomen, heb ik niet de gelegenheid gehad om de taal te leren vanwege mijn werkomgeving en woonomgeving, omdat ik altijd omringd ben door buitenlanders. Ik ben erg enthousiast om te beginnen met het leren van de Nederlandse gewoonten en taal en me zo snel mogelijk te integreren. Recently moved to Amsterdam, looking for a room in a flat share. Ideally with one other person so I can register at the address. I will be visiting Helsinki at least every other weekend once I'm settled, given I have two small kids there. The kids don't live with me here. I work for a boutique investment bank as a sales trader, hence my earning profile is in the upper end - PM for details. I don't smoke, have no pets and respect people's privacy.
