hello my name is Lauri, I am 19 years old and I am from Slovakia. In September I will be starting my studies at Radboud University in Nijmegen. I'll be studying English language and culture and I plan to focus on my studies while I explore my surroundings and meet new people, I also have working experience and plan on working part-time besides my studies. In my free time I really enjoy photography, design, staying in and watching movies, shows, or reading books. I enjoy social outings but I also appreciate some quiet time for myself. I am looking for a comfortable room where I can settle down for at least a few months (If more is possible that is great, but if not that is okay too) until I get to know the city and people around me. I do not smoke and I do not have any pets either. For the past four years, since I was 15, I was attending a Secondary vocational school in Slovakia and because of that I have been living in a dormitory most of the time. Thanks to this I am already used to sharing bathrooms, kitchens or livingrooms with other people. I am respectful of others and their personal space. I am a tidy considerate person and enjoy sorting through/ cleaning my stuff as some sort of outlet. Mijn naam is Boris van Dongen en ik ga in september beginnen met technische natuurkunde in Twente. Mijn voornaamste hobby is videogames, maar ik vind alles wel leuk zolang ik het maar met andere mensen kan doen (behalve monopoly). Ook vind ik koken leuk, of het nou een simpele pasta is of een uitgebreide maaltijd. Ik werk in de Albert Heijn en ben van plan om dit ook in Twente te blijven doen. Ik heb de afgelopen tien jaar op atletiek gezeten, maar ben daar inmiddels mee gestopt om iets nieuws te zoeken. Ik zit nu vooral te kijken naar boulderen en volleybal. Ik rook ook niet en drink (nog) niet. Ik ben iemand die het best gezellig vindt om een keer een uitstapje te doen naar de stad of een andere activiteit zoals sinterklaas of kerstdiner. Tegelijkertijd heb ik soms ook behoefte aan wat tijd voor mezelf om even op mijn kamer te gamen of gewoon niks te doen. Ik zoek hierbij dus vooral naar een combinatie van de twee, waarbij er dus altijd tijd is voor een praatje bij het ontbijt of een colaatje in de avond en ook ruimte om jezelf even terug te trekken. Ik hou erg van actieve vakanties, waarbij ik bijvoorbeeld ga wandelen in de bergen of skiën. Ik ben geen strandmens, je zult mij nooit bruin zien of bruin zien worden.
