In September, I’m starting my bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering at the Eindhoven University of Technology, with the goal of working in the medtech field in the future. I would describe myself as a very outgoing and open-minded person. I enjoy trying new things, taking on challenges, and I always try to keep a positive attitude, because I believe that mindset plays a big role in creating the life you want. I really like meeting new people, and I usually adapt quickly to international environments - I experienced that during a camp in Switzerland, where I met people from many different countries. Because of that, I think having a friendly and sociable housemate would make student life in Eindhoven even better. My biggest hobby is definitely travelling. I love discovering new places, learning about different cultures, and meeting people from around the world. Besides that, I enjoy learning languages, reading books, following political and social topics, playing computer games, and everything connected with technology, especially electronics and programming. I would also like to start doing some sports and learn Dutch once I move to Eindhoven. As a housemate, I am easy-going, calm, and respectful of others. Ik ga regelmatig naar de sportschool en ben altijd in voor sportieve activiteiten. Daarom ga ik natuurlijk zodra ik kan bij een sportvereniging aansluiten. Daarnaast ben ik gek op (bord)spellen en zeg ik nooit nee tegen een gezellige avond samen. Momenteel heb ik een tussenjaar en werk ik als ober in een lunchroom. Daar vind ik het superleuk om met collega’s en klanten te praten en nieuwe mensen te leren kennen. Verder kook ik wekelijks voor mijn familie, dus ik ben goed voorbereid om voor mijn huisgenoten iets lekkers op tafel te zetten.
