Hi! My name is Lara, I'm 21 years old and I'm in my third year of Cultural Anthropology, studying in Utrecht! I am Kurdish, but I was raised in Cyprus and moved to the Netherlands around 11 years ago :) So I speak Dutch as fluent as English! I also speek Greek, Kurdish ofcourse and a bit of Arabic. Aside from my studies, I like going to the gym a few times a week, I work a lot and I like going to festivals every once in a while :) I try to be creative by putting together fun outfits that feel like me, I also have been spending time decorating my bags with charms/jewellery to add a bit of spice to them XD Other than that, I am very social, big on having a clean, tidy and organized space (it keeps my mind calm as well haha) and very open minded. I have been dabbling in spirituality and been broadening my perspective on how I see the world and the people around me. I also did an erasmus exchange last year in Malta, so I have experience living with roommates and it went super smoothly! We are Ophelia (25) and Tanja (25) from Austria, but currently building a life in Amsterdam. Tanja is completing a Research Master's in Philosophy at the UvA and works as a Research Assistant for the Global Constitution Project (UvA). Ophelia works full-time as a Community Strategist at the School for Moral Ambition. We are responsible, calm and friendly, like to keep a tidy and quiet home. We are currently huisbewarder at an apartment we found through Kamernet, so we have plenty of experience taking care of someone else's home as if it were our own.
