I’ve been living in the Netherlands for the past two years, and I recently graduated from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with a Master’s degree. I am a violinist, and as I will primarily practice at the school, noise disturbance will not be an issue. Additionally, I am known for my friendly disposition and tidy habits, ensuring that I will maintain the apartment in excellent condition. My goal in coming to the Netherlands is to pursue my dream of becoming a professional musician and joining an orchestra. Finding a suitable place to reside before the start of the school term is imperative. Hi! I’m Andrea, and I’m really excited about spending some time in Amsterdam and experiencing the city from within. I’ve already had the chance to live abroad, including several years in Ireland, so I’m used to moving to a new country, adapting to new environments and enjoying the experience of living somewhere different. Hi, I am Carlotta (22) from Cologne. I am glad to be an Erasmus student at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam for the autumn semester, from august 30 until december 18th. I am looking for a friendly, also minimalistic room - best in Centrum / Jordaan or Oud-West. As I will keep my flat in Cologne I will only travel with a suitcase and my instrument (trombone) and of course I won't play the trombone in my room. There are rehearsal rooms in the Conservatorium. Our familiy dog lives with my parents (who pay my rent) in Stuttgart. I am a friendly and considerate person who takes great care of everything in my surroundings. I love a tidy home, but am also used to living in a shared flat. I'd really enjoy living in a shared flat with nice people where sometimes we might cook together or spend time together in the evenings. I love cooking, especially vegetarian meals. In general I am very interested in cultural activities. November last year I went to Amsterdam for visiting the Julian Lage concert in the Concertgebouw. I also visited the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum and I am really looking forward to spending four months in Amsterdam.
