Hi, I am Ohida a visual artist and filmmaker originally from India, based out of Almere, Netherlands. I am looking for a place to call home in Amsterdam, and am also open to Utrecht, The Hague, or Rotterdam. I am a calm, tidy, and respectful tenant. I work independently on my art and film projects, which means I keep a quiet, steady routine. I take good care of any space I live in and I am always on time with rent. I have a Dutch BSN, my paperwork is fully in order, and I am ready to move at short notice. My work has taken me around the world I recently completed a residency at the Jan van Eyck Academie in the Netherlands, and my work has been shown at the Venice Biennale, the Berlin Biennale, and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, among others. I am now building my life and practice here in the Netherlands, and finding a stable, comfortable home is an important part of that. I do not smoke, I have no pets, and I am happy living with housemates or alone. I love cooking, Indian food mostly and I am always happy to share a meal. I speak English, Hindi, and Bengali fluently, and I am learning Dutch. One important note: I also need to be able to register my address with the municipality (gemeentelijke inschrijving). This is a firm requirement for me, so I kindly ask landlords to confirm this is possible before we proceed. Hoi! Even though I’m from abroad, I’d love to get to know Dutch people – so I try to adapt with my language! My name is Paula and I am 25 years old. I am studying Psychology as my second Bachelor degree in Leiden. I live here since one year after I ended my first bachelor in Sustainable Economics in Germany (Bonn). That was a nice time but figured out that Psychology is my path that I want to pursue. I am interested in conversations and people per se but also enjoy easy talks to laugh a lot. I can imagine to live in Leiden or The Hague. I do acting since a long time ago, started freshly with tennis and my next project is, of course, to learn dutch. I honestly didn't have time to go to a dutch course but I listen to my dutch tennis trainer every Monday for one hour. So I somehow understand it a bit, but I want to learn it for sure!
