I'll be moving to the Netherlands at the end of August to get my Masters in Crisis and Security Management at Leiden University (The Hague Campus). Ideally, I'm trying to find a room in a shared apartment/house with roommates or a small apartment/studio either in The Hague, Leiden or Delft to rent for a little more than a year starting mid-August. I'm very excited to be studying "abroad" (or away from home, I guess) again, as I find that experiencing new cultures is one of the best things a young person can do. I'm a huge fan of traveling and I got my Bachelor's degree in the United States, so I think living somewhere different in Europe for my Masters will be a cool change. I'm used to living with people, I've always grown up with siblings and spent the last four years living with 1, 2 and all the way up to 6 people, so I'd say I'm quite adaptable and know how roommate life works. As for my free time, I looove all things food and going out to eat, hanging out with my roommates, reading, going out on the weekends but also having fun nights in. I would describe myself as outgoing, responsible, independent, easygoing, and fun to be around. I'm also a very active person, I've played tennis my whole life and played college sports while in the US but generally enjoy most sports (especially volleyball and football). Hi there, I am looking for a room or a studio in Amsterdam starting in July. I've lived in Amsterdam since September 2025 and have come here for my university studies. I will be continuing into my second year of studying Human Geography and Urban Planning at the University of Amsterdam in September of this year. I am looking for a place where registration is possible, and I am ideally looking for somewhere that I can stay for over a year. I’m a German and Canadian citizen, but I was originally born in Bali until I was 12. Before moving to Amsterdam last year, I lived in Berlin for 3 years, where I was studying and received my International Baccalaureate diploma. I took a year off from studying, during which I volunteered for 3 months at a yoga retreat center outside of Barcelona. After my volunteering experience, I moved back to Berlin, where I was working as a waitress and then full-time as a receptionist at a boutique hotel. I'm a respectful tenant and value keeping my personal space clean and organized. I value keeping a healthy routine for myself by going to the gym or joining workout classes and cooking healthy, nutritious meals.
