Hi! I'm Yannick, 21 years (I'll be 22 by the time I'm moving) old and originally from Thuringia, Germany. I just finished my Bachelor’s degree in E-Commerce and will start my Master’s at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences (RUAS) in September. Until then, I’m working and preparing for the move – including improving my Dutch! I’m looking for a furnished (or partly furnished) studio, apartment or a room in a shared flat in Rotterdam, Vlaardingen, Schiedam or Capelle aan den IJssel. My budget is around €800/month (including bills), and ideally I’d like to move in sometime in August (July is also possible). As a roommate or tenant, I’m respectful, calm and tidy. I enjoy a clean and relaxed environment but I’m also open and social when the moment calls for it. I don’t smoke and I’m easygoing when it comes to food – just not a fan of mushrooms 😉. Outside of work and uni, I stay active: I’ve been playing football since I was a kid, I go to the gym, run regularly and love to cook for friends and family. On weekends I’m always up for social events or a good party, but I balance that with a healthy and active lifestyle. I plan to stay in Rotterdam for at least the full duration of my Master’s (1 year, possibly longer). I’m excited to find a welcoming place to call home – and I’m happy to contribute to a positive living environment!

Ik ben Mara, 22 jaar en woon momenteel in Nijmegen. Momenteel die doe ik een tussenjaar na een Bachelor Psychologie. Tijdens mijn studententijd stond ik altijd open voor contact met medestudenten. Zo nam ik deel aan een studentenvereniging gericht op theater en deed ik mee aan verschillende cursussen in sport zoals badminton en boksen. Met vrienden vind ik het erg leuk goede gesprekken te voeren, te wandelen en iets te drinken in een café. Zelf sport ik graag, houd ik van tekenen, lezen en series en films kijken. Ook werk ik al anderhalf jaar bij een mentale support lijn waarbij ik emotionele ondersteuning bied aan jongvolwassenen. Tijdens mijn tussenjaar ben ik gaan reizen door verschillende landen in Europa en doe ik vrijwilligerswerk waarbij ik in contact kom met mensen van verschillende religies en culturen. Zo werk ik momenteel in een boeddhistisch centrum en ga ik binnenkort werken in een vluchtelingenkamp. Dit sluit ook aan bij de master die ik wil gaan doen in Groningen; Applied Social Psychology. Daarnaast heb ik ook allerlei verschillende sporten uitgeprobeerd zoals zeilen, go karting en duiken. Ik zou mezelf beschrijven als iemand die open staat voor contact met anderen, nieuwsgierig, hardwerkend en betrouwbaar is. In verband met mijn master zoek ik vanaf uiterlijk september een kamer in Groningen :)

Ik werk bij de Gemeente Utrecht als beleidsadviseur, en zoek momenteel een plek om te wonen. Ik ben rustig, netjes, en vriendelijk.
